"Are you alright now?" Grandma Cooper asked after Shikera had settled back down on a chair, in the living room.

"I am," Shikera answered truthfully. She really was feeling alright and could already tell that the cause of her vomiting was the food. It was just strange that she did not eat it this time before vomiting, but instead felt nauseous immediately she smelled it. However, she could also attribute that to the strong smell of the fish.

"Are you sure? I didn't know your condition was worse than normal and that was why I forced you to eat."

Shikera smiled at that. "I really am fine. But I can't skip meals so I still have to wait for Mig—Leah to come back so she can take me to a store where I can get the veggies I can use to cook," she said.

Grandma Cooper nodded, her head turning to look at the door.
