Already arrived in San Diego, precisely at Charlie's mansion, Emma rested in Angelica's room because tomorrow she had to go to the hospital for another treatment.

"Angel..." Emma called weakly.

Angelica approached her mother after moving clothes from the suitcase to the wardrobe.

"Do you want something?" she asked.

"No... I just want to talk... I don't want to go to the hospital tomorrow," Emma said, her face downturned. "I just want to rest."

"Why?"

"It's okay... I don't want to bother Charlie more," Emma explained, her face folded. "Honestly... the treatments I've been through haven't made me feel better... I'll just get more tired."
