Capítulo 89: Emma's worry; Louis's scheme

Emma returned to the living room, frustrated as she couldn't reach Angelica. She felt suffocated, haunted by Angelica's beautiful face, longing for her smile, and warmth, and desperately wanting her by her side.

"Oh God... What should I do? What if what Louis said is true? What if Charlie is indeed a dangerous man?"

Confused, Emma considered asking for help from Louis but hesitated, fearing his wife might find out and make matters worse.

"I should contact Kate," she decided, quickly searching for Kate's contact and calling her.

"Hello, Kate?"

"Mrs. Emma?" Kate sounded surprised. "You're calling me? This is strange! I mean..."

"I know it's very unusual for me to contact you," Emma said anxiously. "I just want you to help me find out about Angelica. Since last night, I haven't been able to reach her..."

"Maybe her phone is not active..."
