"I do love you Malia, I just messed up in every single way and you shouldn't think there was anything wrong with you," I begged. 

She shook her head, "Demyan, you don't understand what I'm saying. I need to understand what went wrong with us because we were perfect before you left for London. There was not a fault in our relationship, you were excited about the baby and we were planning so much together. 

Then within a week of you being in London you flipped a switch. You can't tell me you resisted Ethan because a week is not much resistance."

"Ethan and I are different," I was so used to running my fingers through my hair when I was stressed that I almost got frustrated when I did not feel it anymore. 

"In what way?" she frowned, "Is he pregnant too that you are so committed to him?"

I pursed my lips as I looked at her and felt her words stab through my heart like a hot dagger, "It's nothing like that."
