Malia and I walked down the street hand in hand with sunglasses covering our eyes. She had been smiling ever since breakfast which felt like a relief to me. I had coerced her into taking me to the store where her ex-friend was working. I had the toxic trait all men had and that was extreme possession and that meant I would not let anyone walk all over her no matter what. 

When we approached the small corner store I draped my arm over her shoulders. "Demyan, you're such a bloody idiot, I can't take you," she giggled. 

"Just go with the flow," I teased before we walked in. "Which one is she?" I lowly asked as I placed my sunglasses on the top of my head. 

"The one at the pay point," she whispered and led me to the back where there were refrigerators. My security spread themselves out which made a few customers look at them in awe whilst I looked through the frozen popsicles. "She's looking."
