"Why contact the Justice League? We don't need to reach out to them."
"We can handle this situation on our own; there's no need to involve them."
Just as the Invisible Woman Susan had finished speaking, the Human Torch Johnny expressed his opposition with great emotion.
Ever since Russell had embarrassed him in front of the media the last time, his impression of Russell had taken a nosedive. Along with that, the Justice League, which Russell had founded, had become a superhero team he disliked.
Especially when Spider-Woman announced her membership in the Justice League, his dislike for Russell grew even stronger.
Although he didn't know Spider-Woman's true identity, as a seasoned playboy, he was a hundred percent sure that Spider-Woman was not only alluring in physique but also exceptionally attractive in appearance.
Such a female hero, even if she wanted to join a superhero team, should have joined the Fantastic Four, not the newly formed Justice League.
Gwen joining the Justice League had already irked Johnny.
And when Supergirl Kara announced her membership in the Justice League, his discontent with Russell escalated another notch.
Why did all these stunning female heroes have to join the Justice League? Was there something the Fantastic Four lacked compared to the recently established Justice League?
In Johnny's view, both in terms of fame and power, the Fantastic Four surpassed the Justice League. After all, they were a true superhero team that had dealt with global crises.
Although Johnny had expressed his views right away, Susan, the Invisible Woman, completely ignored his suggestion.
Susan knew exactly why Johnny was dissatisfied with Russell. Anything related to Russell, Johnny would either reject or resent.
"I think it's okay. Russell, despite his assassin background, is currently fulfilling his Johnny duties well, protecting the safety of the people."
Mr. Fantastic Reed offered his opinion.
"I agree; we can contact them."
"Although we haven't had much interaction with them before, we're all hero teams in New York. Collaborating once wouldn't hurt."
The Thing, Ben Grimm, also supported Reed's view.
"Alright, then I'll contact Russell and see if the Justice League are interested in joining us this time."
After saying that, the Invisible Woman Susan left the laboratory.
While Russell's contact information might not be widely known, it was not a secret for Susan and the others.
After leaving the laboratory, Susan went to the living room, took out her phone, and dialed Russell's number.
Russell wasn't in New York at the moment; he was currently in Canada.
As he flew towards the Octopus Monster headquarters in New York, he was planning his next steps.
Godzilla and MUTO were definitely going to be a problem.
But how to deal with them required careful planning.
As he considered whether to have Grendel control Godzilla as an unofficial member of the Justice League, a holographic screen suddenly popped up in front of him.
Although Russell didn't know who was calling him at this time, since the other party could find his contact information, they were not ordinary people.
Without overthinking it, he answered the call.
As soon as he answered, a gentle yet somewhat seductive female voice came through the phone.
"Is this Russell? I'm Susan Storm of the Fantastic Four."
Susan introduced herself.
"Yes, it's me."
Russell furrowed his brows slightly, responding calmly.
"Well, here's the situation: we detected a special radiation signal, and after analysis, it appears to be from a prehistoric giant that existed before human civilization."
"This prehistoric giant is currently heading towards Hawaii and is expected to arrive in about four to five hours."
"We're planning to go to Hawaii to investigate, and we wanted to know if you're interested in joining us."
"If you're interested, we can go together."
Susan quickly explained the situation.
After Susan finished speaking, Russell didn't immediately give an answer. He took a moment to think.
The fact that the Fantastic Four could detect MUTO's signal didn't surprise him. After all, Mr. Fantastic Reed was one of the smartest humans on Earth, known as "Mr. Fantastic."
If S.H.I.E.L.D. could find the newly awakened MUTO, there was no reason Mr. Fantastic Reed couldn't.
"No problem, I'm very interested in this prehistoric giant."
"I'm not in New York right now, but I'll be there in ten minutes. If it's convenient, I can come to the Baxter Building."
Russell replied to Susan.
"Great, we'll be waiting for you at the building."
After saying that, Susan hung up the phone.
Although the involvement of the Fantastic Four wasn't part of Russell's plan, since they had extended an invitation, he didn't mind joining forces with them for this mission.
The newly formed superhero team, the Justice League, and the world-famous veteran hero team, the Fantastic Four, teaming up to deal with a prehistoric giant promised to be an exciting event.
After Susan hung up the phone, Russell slightly increased his flying speed.
Five minutes later, he arrived at the top floor of the Baxter Building while wearing the Endosymbiotic Battle Armor.
He hadn't landed yet when Mr. Fantastic Reed, dressed in a dark blue bodysuit, approached him with a warm handshake.
"Mr. Bradley, welcome."
Russell shook hands with Reed, smiling as he responded, "It's my honor to visit the headquarters of the Fantastic Four."
Once inside the living room, Russell removed the Endosymbiotic Battle Armor and took a seat on the sofa opposite Reed and the others.
Seeing the Endosymbiotic Battle Armor transform from a liquid state as it left his body and then quickly reassemble as armor, Mr. Fantastic Reed's face displayed a hint of astonishment.
Although he had seen images of Russell wearing the Endosymbiotic Battle Armor on the news, seeing it in person was a completely different experience.
What an era-defining invention!
Mr. Fantastic Reed silently marveled to himself.
After Russell had taken his seat, Susan, as the only female present, took on the role of explaining the situation.
Although Russell knew more about what was happening with MUTO than Susan and the others did, he still wore a serious expression as he listened to her explanation.
"Based on the information we've gathered so far, the threat level of this prehistoric giant exceeds that of ordinary superpowered individuals."
"While we don't yet know the true extent of this prehistoric giant's power, one thing is certain: it's not an easy target. Conventional human weapons won't do much harm to it."
Susan spoke with a serious expression.
Although Russell appeared to be attentively listening, his thoughts were focused on how to maximize his advantage in this situation.
MUTO was indeed a formidable prehistoric giant, but that also depended on who was dealing with MUTO.
No matter how powerful MUTO was, it was still a flesh-and-blood creature. With enough firepower, tearing it apart wouldn't be too difficult.
"Spider-Woman isn't available for this mission right now. I can bring the Hulk and Supergirl Kara with me!"
Russell gave his answer.
