Looking at her small bag which unfortunately had only few of her favorite snacks after she had picked many, she decided to give them so that they stopped crying.
"Take these," Jolene stretched her hands but then she saw the girls shake their heads, very terrified and they didn't bother to collect any from her.
"They are my favourite. They are very delicious, especially if you have never tasted them before."
Jolene moved closer, her big, curious eyes searching for words from them. She paused and then asked, "What are you two doing here? Should I help you untie them?"
She stood in front of them and bent so that she could feel the texture of the rope that bind them together.
The rope seemed too heavy for her tiny hands. However, as Jolene knelt and tried to untie them, she heard a flickering noise.
The room's light flickered and grew slightly brighter, revealing the two girls more clearly.
