Problems... Entertaining Guests
Lu Fan wasn't in the mood to entertain guests after what happened with Aria.
He had hardened his heart to not fall for anyone and never planned to form heavy attachments with anyone.
Alice was a very beautiful lady in her own right, but Lu Fan did not have any intentions of making a move on her.
Ye Qingyu was another beautiful lady. She might be more into her sister, but if he put his mind to it, he could make her think of only him. Her sister Ye Xueyin was also an easy catch if the information he read was accurate.

Bell's warning still rang in his head and he dared not take it so lightly.
And he was sure Aria was not the last one. There were bound to be other automatons coming along. If he wasn't careful, his house might collapse.
But all these thoughts were just excuses and his [Extreme Intelligence] could process them without getting in the way of his [Extreme Etiquette].
It was more like he got a shock and ran away to collect himself.

Many possibilities went through his head and all he could come up with was to play it by ear.
While all those thoughts were running through his mind, his hands were never idle. His [Extreme Chef] was broken like that and a full set meal was ready by the time his thoughts settled down.

Being the most unperturbed of the lot, Han Chen naturally entered the house and ushered in the group of people who did not know what to do.
After making themselves comfortable, they waited silently as a thick aroma of coffee filled the air but Lu Fan did not show up even after five minutes.
Then an otherworldly fragrance of rice and delicious broth filled the air. Then charred fish that carried some soothing vitality.
Lu Fan came back to view pushing a cart to a round dining table. After setting everything up, he turned to his guests.
"Please forgive my rudeness earlier. Please, if you may."
While all that sounded refined and sophisticated, all they heard was, 'I was busy. Come eat.'
And they did just that. Subconsciously, they had been swept into his rhythm without even realizing it.
It was not that Lu Fan was aiming for this, it was just that the scent coming from the food was too enticing.
Even Agent Chen, Agent Z, and Agent X were led to the table by Lu Fan's simple gesture. They only came back to their senses when they heard the clicking of cutlery with the glassware.
"No need to be polite, Dig in."
First was the unconventional welcome, and now was the hypnotizing food. A strange light flashed past the eyes of the five as they felt that Lu Fan was too random.
But Han Zu Xuan was not as reserved. She picked up the silverware and without much hesitation, she worked the dish with grace. But all that collapsed once it reached her mouth.

The legendary foodgasm. And a big one at that. Even Lu Fan who had expected it somewhat could not help looking at her.
Agent X's already flushed face became redder as she felt all the weird gazes, but remembering the taste, she no longer cared for them and focused on her food.
Her chopstick worked the grilled fish and her other hand pulled the bowl of rice closer. Manners be damned.
A sip of some rather plain seaweed soup complimented the whole dish perfectly, leaving a salty aftertaste that was just perfect and left the tongue hungering for the next mouthful.
Seeing her behaving like this, Han Chen was dumbfounded. Was the food really that good? He skipped all the other silverware and just decided to use chopsticks.
His sister was doing it anyway. It was better if they were embarrassed together than if she was alone. But all those thoughts were thrown out the moment the food touched his tongue.
The other did not wait for long. These two gods were already like this, if they did not move their asses, they might get themselves some troublesome situations.
And then the whole room was filled with chomping and nobody cared about anything else for a while.
They only came to when their serving was gone. They wanted seconds but that serving was oddly satisfying, and they were guests.
"Oh, Aria you just came at the right time, help me bring out desserts."
