Madeleine actually really wanted to refuse because she had contemplated giving up her love for Howard Coleman.
However, when she heard everything Andrew Henris had said, she found herself at a loss for words to refuse him.
Andrew Henris seemed to understand the sorrow in her heart, reached out his hand, patted her shoulder, and handed her a smile, considerately saying, "Don't be in a hurry to refuse me, think about what I've said. Tomorrow we'll still be good friends."
After speaking, Andrew Henris personally unbuckled Madeleine's seat belt, opened the car door for her, "Alright, it's really late, you should go home and rest."
After a pause, Andrew Henris added, "Good night."
"Good night," Madeleine softly said, then took her bag and got out of the car.
Madeleine closed the car door, stood at the roadside, waved to Andrew Henris inside the car, who rolled down the window, gave her a smile, and then started the car, slowly driving away.
