Hundreds of meters away, before arriving at the large barn, a sour stench lingered heavily in the atmosphere. The roaring arguments and putrid laughter began to ring in his ears from miles in the distance.
And when he arrived at the large doors of the structure, he wrinkled his nose in displeasure– Promptly withdrew a handkerchief from his pockets and held it against his face.
It would no doubt be days before he could erase this horrid smell from his memories.
And as he listened to the loud noise that rang from within, Hugh knew this was a visit that would irritate him to no end.
