Tuzi displayed no hint that her attention was channeled on anything occurring within that tent. Her thoughts were scattered elsewhere, reminiscing through memories that she dared not touch for over twenty years. The emotions evoked from the lost recollections were overwhelming her senses.

Though Taiga was disappointed at her refusal to acknowledge him, he was unwilling to give up on their mate bond.
