Chapter 1530

She leaped up suddenly, pushing herself lightly off a smooth boulder, propelling directly a few metres high into the air, and then dived into the dense forest.

In the depths of the forest, there was an abandoned old wooden house, left behind by the Forest Guardians. Despite being uninhabited for years, there was surprisingly very little dust on the floor at the doorway.

Thump!

With a sudden buzz, a figure descended from the sky, knelt on one knee, and slowly rose.

She was petite, her eyes lifeless, quietly gazing at the doorway.

Suddenly, she muttered a few words, "Time's up."

The doorway, however, remained ominously silent.

Five minutes passed and finally, there was some movement. That person flashed directly into the doorway from outside.

Under the moonlight, the figure of a person wrapped in a black cloak stood next to her, with his back towards her.

He was tall and burly, about twice her height.

"Where's the blood?" a chilling voice asked.
