Capítulo 34: Guy Who Thought He Could Turn Gojo Into A Coat Rack.

Kasumi, frustrated by her inability to fight back without her katana, sighs deeply, glancing around the battlefield. Her frustration grows when her phone rings, and she sees that Mechamaru is calling. Relieved, she answers the call, hoping for some guidance. But instead of Mechamaru's voice, she hears a calm, authoritative voice utter one word: "Sleep."

Before she can react, her consciousness fades, and she collapses to the ground, fast asleep.

On the other side of the call, Toge Inumaki lowers his phone, his cursed speech having done its job. Standing beside Megumi's Divine Dog, he gently pats the shikigami, which immediately responds to his command and vanishes into the shadows.

Toge looks around, sensing something ominous nearby. His eyes narrow as he feels the unmistakable presence of a powerful cursed spirit approaching. "Cavier..." is a cuss word for the Inumaki clan.

...

Principal Gakuganji sat in his office, deep in thought. His decision to eliminate Yuji Itadori weighed heavily on his mind. He had permitted Noritoshi to use the Semi-Grade 1 cursed spirit, a creature capable of tracking its prey by a special blood scent. The plan was simple: after Yuji's battle with Aoi, he would be weakened, and the cursed spirit would finish him off. It was a calculated move, one Gakuganji believed necessary to rid the world of Sukuna's vessel. However, doubts began to creep in as he mulled over the situation.

"This has to be done," Gakuganji muttered to himself, his gaze steely. "For the greater good of the jujutsu world, Itadori must be eliminated."

Meanwhile, Utahime moved swiftly through the forest, her concern for Kasumi evident in her furrowed brow. The young sorcerer had been left vulnerable, and Utahime wasn't going to let anything happen to her on her watch. As she navigated the thick underbrush, she kept an eye out for any signs of danger.

"Kasumi, hang in there. I'm coming," Utahime whispered to herself, her determination pushing her forward.

At the same time, deep within the forest, Toge found himself face-to-face with the Semi-Grade 1 cursed spirit. The creature was grotesque, its eyes burning with malice as it loomed over him. Toge could feel the weight of its cursed energy pressing down on him, but he remained calm, his hand ready to unleash his cursed speech.

Just as the cursed spirit prepared to strike, something unexpected happened. In an instant, its head was severed from its body, and it collapsed to the ground, lifeless. Toge's eyes widened in shock as he took a step back, trying to comprehend what had just occurred.

"What…?" Toge muttered under his breath, his voice filled with confusion.

The air around him grew colder, and from the shadows of the trees emerged Hanami, a powerful and enigmatic curse. Hanami's presence was overwhelming, and Toge instinctively knew he was in the presence of a formidable foe. He tightened his grip on his cursed speech, ready to defend himself if necessary.

Hanami, however, seemed more curious than aggressive. The curse's eyes, which bore an eerie calmness, locked onto Toge. There was a brief, tense silence before Hanami finally spoke.

Toge's heart pounded in his chest, but he didn't flinch. He knew better than to underestimate a curse like Hanami. Despite the ominous situation, he maintained his composure, waiting for any sign of an attack.

"What… do you want?" Toge managed to ask, his voice barely above a whisper, careful not to trigger his cursed speech unnecessarily.

Hanami didn't immediately respond, instead, it seemed to study Toge, almost as if it was deciding whether to engage him or not. Finally, Hanami turned away, its attention shifting elsewhere in the forest.

With that, Hanami disappeared into the forest, leaving Toge standing alone with the remains of the cursed spirit. He exhaled a breath he didn't realize he was holding, trying to make sense of what had just happened. "Cavier..."1

Meanwhile, deep within the dark corridors of an old teacher's building, Mahito and the curse user Juzo Kumiya were preparing to execute their plan. The atmosphere was thick with malice as Mahito grinned, his twisted excitement palpable.

"Everything is falling into place, Juzo," Mahito said, his voice filled with dark glee. "Soon, we'll show those jujutsu sorcerers the true meaning of despair."

Juzo, his face partially obscured by shadows, chuckled softly. "And what of Sukuna's vessel? You seemed quite taken with him."

Mahito's smile widened, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Oh, Itadori? He's just a toy. A very fun toy. But when the time comes, I'll break him completely."

Juzo frowned, "Well, I guess I should've known I couldn't make him into a blanket...a pair of shoes? No no...ah, an umbrella!"

...

Noritoshi's childhood was marked by the harsh realities of the jujutsu world, where lineage and power meant everything. Born to a father who was desperate for a son with the coveted Blood Manipulation technique, Noritoshi's existence was shaped by a sense of duty and sacrifice. His mother, a woman who was never meant to be more than a mistress, bore him so that the Kamo Family could have a true heir.

From a young age, Noritoshi understood that his purpose was not just to wield power but to protect his mother from the cruel dynamics of their world. This determination fueled his every action, pushing him to act as the true heir, no matter the cost.

In the present, the clash between Megumi and Noritoshi raged on, both combatants moving with speed and precision. The sound of metal clashing echoed through the forest as Megumi's remaining tonfa met Noritoshi's blood-empowered strikes.

However, the relentless assault soon took its toll, and with a powerful blow, Noritoshi shattered Megumi's second tonfa. Megumi gritted his teeth, refusing to back down despite the disadvantage.

Noritoshi's lips curled into a smile as he stepped back, giving Megumi a moment to catch his breath. "You're getting stronger, Fushiguro," Noritoshi remarked, a note of genuine satisfaction in his voice. "I'm glad. It's about time you start living up to your potential."

Megumi narrowed his eyes, confused by the familiarity in Noritoshi's tone. "Why are you talking like we're close? We're not allies."

Noritoshi's expression softened, almost as if he were reminiscing. "Because, Fushiguro, you and I… we're the future pillars of the jujutsu world. The ones who will uphold our families' legacies. We're similar, you and I."

Megumi's gaze hardened at the mention of his family. "Don't lump me in with you. I have no connection to the Zenin clan, nor do I want one."

Noritoshi's smile faded, replaced by a serious expression. "You can deny it all you want, but it doesn't change the truth. The blood of the Zenin runs through your veins, just as the blood of the Kamo runs through mine. We carry the weight of our ancestors' expectations, whether we like it or not."

As the battle between Megumi and Noritoshi intensified, the tension in the air grew thick. Both sorcerers knew that this was more than just a contest of strength—it was a battle of ideologies, a confrontation of what it meant to be a jujutsu sorcerer.

Noritoshi's eyes narrowed, a cold resolve settling over his features. "I'll be honest with you, Fushiguro. I plan to kill Yuji Itadori, and I'm doing it of my own will. Not because of some order or duty, but because I believe it's the right thing to do. You should understand, we're the same, after all."

Megumi's expression darkened, his usual calm demeanor replaced by a fierce determination. "You're wrong, Noritoshi. We're nothing alike," he retorted, his voice steady and firm. "I don't believe in the same twisted sense of duty you do. I believe in my conscience, in saving people, no matter what anyone else says."

Noritoshi's brow furrowed, clearly not expecting Megumi's response. "Even if it means going against your clan? Even if it means defying the jujutsu society?"

"Yes," Megumi declared without hesitation. "I'll save people, and if you can't accept that, then we'll just have to agree to curse each other!"

The fierce declaration hung in the air for a moment, both sorcerers locked in a tense standoff. Suddenly, one of Megumi's toads appeared behind Noritoshi, its tongue lashing out. Noritoshi turned his attention to the shikigami, but it was already too late. The toad was merely a decoy, a ploy to buy Megumi the precious seconds he needed.

While Noritoshi was momentarily distracted, Megumi summoned all the cursed energy he could muster, channeling it into his next move. The ground trembled beneath him as he called forth a powerful shikigami, one that had only recently been submitted to his command: Max Elephant!

The enormous shikigami appeared with a mighty roar, its massive form towering over the battlefield. Noritoshi's eyes widened in shock as he realized what Megumi was about to do. He tried to react, to counter the summoning, but he was a moment too slow.

Max Elephant's trunk swung down, and with a forceful blast, it unleashed a torrent of water directly at Noritoshi. The water surged forward like a tidal wave, sweeping Noritoshi off his feet and hurling him out of the temple and into the open air.

Noritoshi was momentarily disoriented as he was propelled into the sky, the force of the water overwhelming him. But before he could even think about recovering, Megumi seized the opportunity to strike. He raised his hand, summoning Nue, his trusted shikigami.

Nue appeared in a flash of lightning, its wings crackling with electricity as it soared through the air. With a fierce screech, it dove toward Noritoshi, aiming to strike him down while he was still vulnerable.

As Noritoshi soared through the air, his mind raced back to his mother's expectations, her hopes resting heavily on his shoulders. He couldn't afford to lose, not when so much was at stake. The image of her face, stern yet caring, flashed in his mind. She had sacrificed so much to ensure his place as the heir, and he was determined not to let her down.

"No," Noritoshi muttered under his breath as he forced himself to regain control. He reached into his robe and pulled out a hidden blood pack. In a swift motion, he hurled it at Nue, the crimson liquid splattering across the shikigami's body. "Blood Manipulation: Crimson Binding!"

The blood responded to his command, forming tendrils that wrapped around Nue, restricting its movements. The shikigami struggled, but Noritoshi's technique held firm, preventing Nue from attacking any further. As the blood solidified, both Noritoshi and Megumi descended to the ground below, their eyes locked in a fierce gaze.

Landing with a heavy thud, Noritoshi clenched his fists, refusing to back down. Megumi mirrored his resolve, the air between them crackling with tension. Without a word, both sorcerers charged at each other, their intent clear: they wouldn't submit until one of them fell.

But before they could clash, a sudden and violent surge of wooden branches erupted from the earth, forcing them both to halt in their tracks. The twisted mass of wood shot up between them, splitting the ground apart with the sheer force of its growth.

"What the—" Megumi's eyes widened in surprise as he quickly scanned the surroundings, trying to make sense of the sudden attack.

At that moment, he spotted Toge Inumaki, the second-year sorcerer, deftly avoiding the branches as they lashed out at him. Toge, with his usual calm demeanor, quickly assessed the situation and realized the imminent danger. He inhaled sharply, and in a commanding voice laced with cursed energy, he shouted, "Run away!"

The command reverberated through the air, and Megumi felt the weight of it immediately. His body reacted instinctively, and he leaped back, narrowly dodging a spike that shot up from the ground where he had just been standing. Noritoshi, too, was forced to retreat, his focus momentarily shifting from their duel to the sudden threat.

The branches, seemingly alive, continued to writhe and grow, lashing out at anything within their reach. Both Megumi and Noritoshi moved in sync, dodging the relentless attacks while trying to keep their footing. The battlefield had transformed into a chaotic mess of wood and debris, the once clear space now a hazardous maze.

"Damn it," Noritoshi cursed under his breath as he narrowly avoided another strike. He glanced at Megumi, who was also struggling to avoid the onslaught. The wooden branches were unlike any curse he had seen before, and he knew this wasn't a mere coincidence.

"This is something else," Megumi muttered, his mind racing. He noticed the origin of the branches, a large mass of wood in the distance that seemed to be the source of the attack. He quickly connected the dots—this wasn't just another curse, but something far more dangerous.

Meanwhile, just outside the battlefield, the deranged curse user Juzo Kumiya was grinning with twisted delight. Standing on the outskirts, he watched as the chaos unfolded within the curtain he had just erected. The talisman he placed at the edge of the area pulsed with dark energy, and the curtain began to form, slowly but surely enclosing the entire battlefield in an ominous barrier.

Juzo, his expression one of maniacal glee, could barely contain his excitement. "Finally," he whispered to himself, his voice tinged with madness. "A perfect stage... to create my masterpiece."

His hands trembled as he imagined the horrors he would inflict on the jujutsu sorcerers trapped within the curtain. The thought of crafting a hanger rack out of their corpses brought a twisted smile to his face, and his mind wandered to the ultimate prize—Gojo Satoru himself.

"If I can get my hands on him... imagine the possibilities," Juzo mused, his eyes glazing over with anticipation. "A hanger rack made from the strongest sorcerer... nothing could be more beautiful."1

As the curtain began to take full effect, the energy inside intensified, amplifying the power of the curses within.

  1. The tent isn't up yet so if Hanami attacks, she'll be recorded and ruin the plan.
  2. Rest In Piss, Juzo.
