Capítulo 32: XXX – Riku, Rinko and Miyu
A/N: The International 2024 is right around the corner, so this month will be a double chapter. One will be today and the other will be out once The International finishes. That means, no chapters for the month of October.

Hakugyokurou - Guest Room(Riku's Room)
June 13, 2021 - Sunday - 5:30 A.M.
Riku POV
I slowly opened my eyes and looked to my right, checking the clock beside me, which showed 5:30 A.M. already.
We have been at the Hakugyokurou for a day now, and my engagement to Rinko and Miyu has become official. And, if I recall correctly, Yuyuko-san invited us to stay the night here.
I got up off the bed and did some light stretches. After that, I made the bed and changed from my sleepwear to my regular clothing. I was about to follow my usual routine when I remembered something important.
Riku: Oh right, The Hakugyokurou doesn't have any gyms.....oh well, guess I'll just have to do some walking for today.
I left my room as I head outside to take a stroll at the Saigyouji Garden.
A few minutes later....
Saigyouji Garden
I am strolling in the Saigyouji Garden, which is rather large and allows me to go for a long time. At the same time, I can breathe in the fresh morning air before the sun comes up. However, that is not the only reason I am here.
Flashback(This is when Riku is asleep)
Riku's Mindscape
3rd POV
We go to Riku's mindscape while Riku is eating snacks with Iku, and Tenshi is still asleep with a snot bubble coming out of her nose.
Riku: So, why did you call me here?
Iku: First things first. I would like to extend my congratulations on your engagement.
Riku: So you saw everything? Even the plan that Okina-sama made with my mother?
Iku only nodded as she drank her tea.
Iku: I thoroughly reviewed the procedures, and the rules are completely foolproof. With the Celestial Family's involvement, no one will be able to take advantage of the new law once it comes to take effect. So, how does it feel to be engaged to two ladies at the same time?
Riku: I'm still taking it all in. I mean, it is the first time I have been in a scenario like this.
Iku: You had the opportunity to decline, but you did not. Why?
Riku: I just can't bear to see one of them in tears due to heartbreak. Those two are too pure for that to happen. I felt like I want to take care of them with everything I have. And if Okina-sama hadn't made that plan long ago, I would've asked- no, scratch that. I would've used my Pledge to ask for their hand.
Iku's expression turned serious as she stared at me with her ruby red eyes.
Iku: You do know that if you use your pledge, you have to commit to it right? And what you were planning to do is a very risky one.
The Pledge is a sacred promise to the Celestial Families. Once the pledge is used, one has to commit to it for life until the condition is fulfilled. Attempt to break it, will be a death sentence. And we only get to use it once in our lifetime. And so far, only Yukari-san, Yuyuko-san and Eirin-san have used their pledge.
Riku: I know. But I can count myself lucky that I won't be using it. I guess I have to thank Okina-sama and mother for making that plan.
Iku: Yes, you can consider yourself lucky with that. But let me tell you why I really called you here. And it's about her.
Iku pointed at the sleeping Tenshi as I raised a brow.
Riku: Tell me more about it.
Iku: Tenshi appears to be recuperating energy much faster since you visited the Eientei a few days ago. And not only that, because you spent the entire day in the Hakugyokurou, she has regained significantly more energy than before. Tenshi should be able to wake up around the middle of August, based on my estimations.
Riku: She recovered that much energy just by me going there?
Iku: This indicates that Tenshi will most likely recuperate faster in places with high magical and spiritual energy. Unlike the last time that she needed three years to show up.
Riku: Yeah...I mean, I was out of the country for the most of it.
Iku: Yes. But I will remind you, the moment Tenshi regains consciousness, you will never pull that kind of stunt again. Manifesting a soul without any prior practice can be harmful to the soul itself.
Riku: Then how will Tenshi explain things to Aichi? You know he's been waiting to get some answers.
Iku: That's for you to figure it out?
End of Flashback
I stopped walking while thinking what Iku said last night about finding new ways to reveal Tenshi without exposing her soul to the outside world, and I did not know I was in front of the Saigyou Ayakashi. I stared up at the big sakura tree, sensing the magical power emanating from it.
Riku: This is the first time I've been this close to this tree. Yuyuko-san warned almost everyone that no one should come close to this tree.
???: And for good reason~
I turned around to see where the voice came from, and it was Yuyuko-san holding a basket of flowers.
Yuyuko: Now do tell me why're you here near the Saigyou Ayakashi?
Riku: Yuyuko-san....I know you said that no one should come close here but...
Yuyuko-san just put her hand in my shoulder and I can see that she wasn't mad.
Yuyuko: It's okay Riku-kun. I know that you've been thinking on some things and you stumbled your way here. What's done is done. Now come with me. I think you deserve to know why I said that no one is allowed to come close here.
I followed Yuyuko-san as we approached the tree, eventually reaching the very foot of the Saigyou Ayakashi. My eyes widened when I noticed there was a tombstone directly beneath the tree. Yuyuko-san knelt down and placed the flower basket just in front of the grave.
Riku: Yuyuko-san.....this...
Yuyuko: This is the reason why I told everyone not to come very close to the Saigyou Ayakashi.
Riku: I hope It won't be rude to ask but...who is buried under the tree?
Yuyuko-san closed her eyes as she moved to the side, where I could see the tombstone. The gravestone was written in ancient Japanese. But I can understand it because I had to learn virtually everything there is to know about Japanese history. I walked closely as I get to read what was written. And when I read the writings, my eyes widened with shock.
Saigyouji Yuyuko
1225-1258
Riku: Yuyuko-san....underneath the Saigyou Ayakashi.....
Yuyuko: Yes. Buried beneath the Saigyou Ayakashi is my real body. As to why....according to what Yukari told me, I committed suicide.
I flinched when Yuyuko-san told me that she offed herself. This is the first time I've heard of this.
Riku: Then the you right now...
Yuyuko: Yes. I am what you call a True Ghost. My remains underneath the Saigyou Ayakashi acts as a seal to the tree itself.
Riku: A seal? For what?
Yuyuko: The Saigyou Ayakashi is not your typical sakura tree, Riku-kun. It's a youkai tree. With the ability to draw in people into their deaths simply by approaching it. When they draw close, their life power is gradually drained till passing away preventing the Saigyou Ayakashi from withering. However, if the Saigyou Ayakashi absorbs too much, its ability will spread over the country. And here's where my body comes in. According to Yukari, my remains restrict the Saigyou Ayakashi from completely utilizing its abilities. However, there is a drawback.
Riku: A downside?
Yuyuko: To hold the Saigyou Ayakashi's ability, it required a lot of energy to use.
Riku: How?
Yuyuko: Simple. By eating. You see, this ghost body of mine and my remains buried in this tree are connected. And all the excess energy that I get from eating, it goes directly to the Saigyou Ayakashi.
When Yuyuko-san explained how she kept the Saigyou Ayakashi in check gave me a sudden realization.
Riku: Then all this time.....you've been eating that much.....is because of this?
Yuyuko: Yes. I've been doing this for years.
Riku: Who else knows this?
Yuyuko: Aside from you, only Yukari, Kasen and Youmu knows of this.
Riku: Wait, Youmu knows this as well?
Yuyuko: I told her of this when she reached her 15th birthday. She's been living with me ever since and she deserved to know.
Riku: I see...
Yuyuko: Your mother knows this as well.
Riku: Mother knew it too?
Yuyuko: I told her when you were still inside of her. When Miku-chan told me that she wanted me to be your godmother, I told her about this. I was genuinely scared at first, but I was more surprised that Miku-chan accepted me. Aside from Yukari, Miku-chan is like a sister to me.
Riku: I see.....Yuyuko-san. About the punishment that I gave you...I take it back. If I knew that you had to go through all of that, I-
Yuyuko-san grabbed my wrist and gave me a hug.
Yuyuko: It's okay Riku-kun. I really deserved the punishment that you gave me. And I'm not mad about it, because I can never get mad at you. You're my godson, and I treat you as my own child.
To Yuyuko-san's words, I just returned the hug quietly as Yuyuko-san gave me a headpat. After a few minutes, me and Yuyuko-san broke the hug.
Yuyuko: Riku-kun. Keep what I said to yourself okay?
Riku: Don't need to tell me. I'll keep quiet about this.
Yuyuko-san's right. I have to keep this a secret. The less people know, the better.
Yuyuko: I think it's time for us to return. Breakfast should be starting in a few minutes.
Riku: Hm.
I just hummed as we left the Saigyou Ayakashi and returned to the Hakugyokurou.
Timeskip...
Hakugyokurou - Dining Room
6:45 A.M.
Youmu POV
I am in the dining room getting things ready for breakfast. Plates, tableware, food-everything. However, I am not doing this alone. I asked several of the staff to assist me in setting up everything before Yuyuko-sama and the guests arrived. Speaking of Yuyuko-sama....
Youmu: Have you seen Yuyuko-sama?
Worker 1: Last time I saw her, she went to the Saigyou Ayakashi.
Worker 2: She should be back right now. Youmu-sama, we can handle the rest. You go find Yuyuko-sama.
Youmu: Then I'll leave you to it. Make sure that there are extras for Yuyuko-sama.
Workers: HAI!
I left the dining room as I head to the garden to get Yuyuko-sama. And as I reached the garden, I see Yuyuko-sama with Riku-kun.
Youmu: Yuyuko-sama! Riku-kun!
The two noticed me and Yuyuko-sama started to float as she makes her way to me.
Yuyuko: Youmu~
As Yuyuko-sama approached me, she instantly hugged me, pressing her cheeks against mine.
Youmu: Yuyuko-sama?!
Riku: Yuyuko-san. Don't you see that Youmu's not liking it?
Yuyuko: Come now Riku-kun~ I can tell that Youmu likes it~ How about you join in along with me?
Youmu: EH?!
I began to imagine Riku-kun hugging me as he rubs his cheeks to mine.....just the thought of it made me blush hard.
Riku: No thank you. And you better stop now Yuyuko-san, or no breakfast for you.
Yuyuko-sama broke away from me after Riku-kun threatened her. Riku-kun approached me to see if I'm alright.
Riku: You good?
Youmu: I'm fine. But thank you for your concern Riku-kun.
Riku: Hm. So, what brings you here at the garden? Yuyuko-san did tell me that you were preparing breakfast.
Youmu: I did. But the workers told me to go ahead so I can look for Yuyuko-sama. And I want to inform to the both of you that the other guests are awake now, and breakfast will begin soon.
Yuyuko: Excellent~ Shall we head inside?
Me and Riku-kun nodded as we head inside towards the dining room.
Later.....
Hakugyokurou - Balcony
7:30 A.M.
3rd POV
When Riku, Yuyuko, and Youmu entered the dining room, everyone was present. Yukina was still drowsy as she leaned on Lisa and as for Mafuyu, she's still a bit drowsy. Breakfast was served buffet-style, identical to what Riku and Rinko had at the Totsuki Resort. There is plenty of food for everyone, including a separate portion specifically for Yuyuko.
After breakfast, Riku and the girls plan to head to the balcony as they plan on what to do today. Before Riku gets to the balcony, he was called by his grandfather.
Kyoya: Riku. Can you come here for a moment.
Riku: Is there something you need?
Kyoya: Yes. Yesterday, after you and the girls left, we adults discussed that the moving process of Rinko and Miyu's personal belongings will begin today. I've called Yuugi and her crew to do it.
Riku: So how long will it take?
Kyoya: They'll be able to finish it before dinner time. So for today, you can do anything you want. And as for me and Mafuyu, we'll be heading back to the estate.
Riku: What about Rinko and Miyu's parents?
Kyoya: They've already left, and said their goodbyes to their daughters. Now run along now. The girls are waiting for you.
Kyoya turned around as he leaves, but Riku asked him one more question before Riku goes to the girls.
Riku: Before I leave, I want to ask you something. About the hole in the middle of Tokyo yesterday. What's the situation?
Kyoya: We had the Hinanawi take care of things there. From what Genji's reports, there were no casualties. But Marisa and Patchouli are still investigating in regards of what magic was used, so it'll take a while for them to finish.
Riku: I see, then I'll take my leave. I'll see you back at the estate.
Kyoya nodded as he left Riku, and Riku went to the balcony where the girls are waiting.
We head to the balcony where Riku, where the girls of Roselia and Lyrical Lily are as they plan on what to do next.
Riku: Any plans for today?
Sayo: We plan to use this day as a rest day. Minato-san's voice just recovered recently and we can't afford to have her hurt her voice again.
Yukina: Unfortunately.....but I can use this as a chance to think of a new song.
Riku: Hm. That might be good. What about you three?
Riku asked the Lisa, Ako and Rinko on what their plans for today.
Lisa: Well, Youmu did tell me that she has some cookie recipes that she wanted to share with me, so the both of us will be at the kitchen for the day.
Ako: Rin-Rin and I will be playing NFO for today! Yuyuko-san told us that they have several computers here and we can use it anytime we want!
Riku: So you two are on the grind?
Rinko: I'm just helping Ako-chan reach level 100 faster. I mean she's just a few levels away from it.
Miyu: Rinko-san plays NFO as well?
Everyone turned to Miyu as they were surprised that she of all people plays NFO as well.
Riku: You play NFO too Miyu?
Miyu: Hai. I just started playing a year and a half ago. Though I'm just at the middle levels as of now.
Riku: I see. What's your class and current level?
Miyu: I'm currently level 71, and my class is Saint.
Riku, Ako and Rinko's eyes were wide as plates as Miyu answered while she was tilting her head.
Lisa: Oi....you three, are you okay?
Riku: We're fine Lisa. It's just that I can't believe that Miyu can be so lucky.
Sayo: Is Saint that rare of a class?
Rinko: It's not just the rarest Sayo-san, it's the strongest healing class in the game. A class that is primarily focused on healing and buffing allies, a Saint's skill set can overshadow most healing classes like Imai-san's.
Ako: And Saints have a unique passive known as [Angel's Will], which amplifies their healing skills by 60% and increases allies buff duration by 50%!!!
Lisa: Wow.....to think that Miyu-chan here has a character like that....
Riku: What about you girls? You play NFO too?
Riku asked Heruna, Kurumi and Miiko if they also play NFO, but the three of them shook their heads, knowing that they don't play the game.
Haruna: Sorry, but I'm not into video games like you all...I'm more leaning into some classical games.
Kurumi: RPG games are not my style.....I prefer the FPS type.
Miiko: Same with me nano!! I like games where you shoot zombies with guns!!
Riku: I see. Well we have our own preferences, and we won't judge you. You do what makes you happy. Well, if that's what you're planning for today, I-
*Squawk*
Riku heard a noise coming from the sky, and it was his family's messenger hawk, Ankh. Ankh flew down at high speed as he landed on the table right in front of Riku.
Riku opened the tube on Ankh's back and inside of it is a letter.
Riku: I got the letter. You go fly ahead and happy hunting.
Ankh nodded as he flew away.
Yukina: Riku-san, what was that?
Riku: Right, you never met him. The bird just now was Ankh. The Nagae's messenger hawk.
Sayo: A messenger hawk? At this day and age?
Rinko: Kokoro-chan told me that the reason why the Celestial Families have these messenger hawks, is to prevent information from leaking.
Haruna: I see. with this day and age where it's all digital, sensitive information can be easily hacked.
Miiko: But how did you get that hawk nano?
Riku: Those hawks are trained by the Ibaraki Family. Once they're trained to the point they can understand human speech, they're distributed to each household. And I got to name it, so I named him Ankh.
Kurumi: Why Ankh though?
Riku: Do any of you watch Tokusatsu shows?
Ako raised her hand as she was excited that she just found a fellow tokusatsu enjoyer.
Ako: Riku-nii! Is your hawk named after Ankh from Kamen Rider OOO?!
Yukina: Kamen-
Sayo: Rider?
Rinko: It's a tokusatsu show that Ako-chan watches every Sunday. It's about masked heroes that protects humanity from evil.
Riku: Well Rinko gets the gist of it. But yes, I named the hawk after Ankh from OOO.
Haruna: Wow. I'm surprised that you watch those kind of shows at your age Riku-san.
Riku: Kamen Rider is not just for kids Haruna. Anyone can watch it. I mean, I've been watching Kamen Rider ever since I was a kid. And even when I was still with OG, I always keep updated on Kamen Rider. But enough of that, let's see what Ankh brought.
Riku opened the letter and read the contents. His eyes widened a bit and showed a small smile.
Riku: So it's that time again huh?
Sayo: Is something wrong?
Riku: Nothing at all. What Ankh brought to me is an invitation.
Kurumi: An invitation?
Riku: Yup. An invitation to a party that will be held on Friday next week. And the one who sent me this invitation is the Moriya Shrine.
Haruna: Moriya? I think I've heard of that name. From what I remember, there are some people who went there to pray. And once they left there, they came out as if a miracle happened to them.
Riku: Well, you're not wrong. The Moriya shrine maiden has the ability to create any miracle.
Rinko: Wait, ability? Does that mean the Moriya shrine maiden is a youkai?
Riku: Nope. She's a demigod.
The girls froze in place as they took in Riku's words. They didn't expect that he would say that the shrine maiden was a demigod.
Ako: A demigod? That's cool!!!
Sayo: I expected you will answer that she was human but....a demigod...
Riku: I mean the Moriya shrine maiden is descended from a god.
Lisa: Wow...so...what are you gonna do with the invite?
Riku: I'll accept it. If Suwako-sama and Kanako-sama sent an invite to the Nagae, the other families should receive an invite by now.
Miiko: Riku-san, who are Suwako-sama and Kanako-sama?
Riku: Suwako-sama and Kanako-sama are the goddesses that reside in the Moriya Shrine.
Roselia/Lyrical Lily(Minus Miyu): GODDESSES?!
Riku: Yup. Moriya Suwako, a goddess of earth and Yasaka Kanako, a goddess of wind.
The girls were still in shock that there were genuine deities living among them. And two of them are at the Moriya Shrine. But before anyone could say anything, Riku rose from his chair.
Riku: Since Suwako-sama and Kanako-sama sent this. I think I know what to do today.
Rinko was the first to react as she asked Riku about his plans.
Rinko: You're planning to do something today?
Riku: Yup. I'm gonna buy something. But the thing that I'm looking for is at Yokohama.
The other girls returned to their senses as they turned to Riku.
Ako: Why would you go to Yokohama?
Riku: Because the thing that I'm buying can only be bought from there. And it's 100% authentic.
Rinko: Oh.....I wanted to invite you to play NFO with me and Ako-chan...possibly invite Miyu-san if she's available. Guess that's out of the table.
Rinko was dejected, knowing that her fiance has plans for today. When Lisa saw her friend down in the dumps, she lets out a smug as she has a plan.
Lisa: Then how about you go with Riku to Yokohama. You can treat it as a date you know?
Riku: Eh?
Yukina: Eh?
Ako: Eh?
Sayo: Eh?
Rinko: Eh?.....EHHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?!
The girls of Roselia, including Riku was surprised to what Lisa said. It could be either the best thing she could think of or the latter.
Sayo: Imai-san does have a point. Now that both of you are engaged, you can use this chance to have a date.
Ako: Sayo-san is right! You and Riku-nii should go on a date today! Don't worry about NFO, you go enjoy yourself!!!
Rinko looked at her leader as she was waiting for her answer. Then Yukina looked at her with a small smile on her face.
Yukina: You should go. You've been waiting for this for a long time right? It's our day-off, so make the most out of it.
Rinko: Yukina-san.....everyone.....thank you. Riku, if it's alright with you....
Riku: I don't mind. I mean, I was about to ask you if you want to come with me even if Lisa didn't say anything.
Lisa: Then it's settled. Riku and Rinko will-
Haruna: Hold it right there!!!
Riku and the girls of Roselia turned to Haruna who called them out.
Haruna: If Riku-san is having a date with Rinko-san, then Miyu-san should join them as well.
Miyu: H-Haruna-chan?
Kurumi: Chairwoman is right! Miyu-chan is also Riku-san's fiance! So it's fair that she gets to have a date as well!
Miiko: If Riku-san only takes Rinko-san, then Miyu-chan is getting left out nano!
Rinko and the girls of Roselia remembered that Miyu is also engaged to Riku. And they also remembered one of the rules that were given to them.
Sayo: How could I forget.....there is that rule.
Lisa: What're you gonna do Riku?
Riku: You think that I forget Miyu? Of course not. I was gonna ask Miyu anyway.
Haruna: You were?
Riku: Obviously. So Miyu. Will you join us?
Miyu: I'd be glad to come with you.
Rinko: Same goes for me. We can use this to get to know more about each other.
Riku: Then we need some sort of plan for this.
Miyu: You're right. we need a gameplan.
Rinko: Then how about this? We can-
Riku returned to his seat as the three of them were making plans for their date, the other girls looked at them with surprised looks.
Lisa: They're getting along quite fast.
Sayo: Even faster than Rinko was with us for the first time.
Ako: As if they're a Best Match with each other!!
Yukina: It seems so. And this is the first time I see Rinko so happy.
Haruna: Same goes to Miyu-san. I mean, Miyu-san is happy most of the time, but this is entirely different.
Kurumi: I can literally feel the aura of a maiden falling in love from Miyu-chan.
Miiko: Look! They're done nano~
Riku got up from his seat as he heads to the door.
Riku: Now that everything is all planned out, you two get ready as I head to the garage and get the car ready.
Riku's fiances nodded as Riku left them as he heads to the garage.
Rinko and Miyu looked at each other and both of them showed a very bright smile. What they didn't know is that their friends is right behind them.
Lisa: So, how did it go?
Rinko: We've made some plans on what to do for the rest of the day. We have some places in mind.
Sayo: That's great and all but...do you have any extra clothes with you?
Rinko and Miyu paused for a moment as they realized that they didn't bring any spare clothes to wear for their date.
Before Lisa and Kurumi gave an idea, Miyu's phone rang and it was a message from Riku.
Miyu: A message from Riku-san.
Haruna: What does it say?
Miyu read the message out loud, and it says....
Riku: I kinda predicted that you two have no spare clothes for our date today, so let's stop by to a certain place first before we start our date okay? And get ready in 30 minutes.
Miyu: That's what it says.
Kurumi: Wow....it's like Riku-san had expected this.
Sayo: Rinko did tell us that Riku-san is notorious for his predictions.
Miiko: Really? How so?
Rinko: Well...
Flashback(Several days ago)
This is when Rinko was at the Eientei with Riku, Ako, Reona and Chiyu. They were playing an FPS game that Chiyu recommended and they were having fun. Until...
Rinko and Riku are surrounded, and it is five against two. Riku has 10 health points, while Rinko remains at full. They intended to wait until the time ran out so they could conserve their money for the next round, but their opponents rushed them. And that where Riku's magic came into play.
Rinko: Riku, I need help.
Rinko is standing her ground as she was shooting her gun while the opposing team is trying to flank her. Riku on the other hand was just standing there with a sniper rifle ready. Rinko was calling for help, but Riku wasn't answering.
Rinko: Riku!! I need help!!!
Rinko is starting to get overwhelmed, but she managed to do a collateral kill which leaves only three players left. But Riku was still standing there.
Rinko: RIKU!!!!!!!
Rinko is already begging for Riku's help, but he just casually said....
Riku: Nah, you got this.
And, true to his words, Rinko manages to land three head shots in a row, and they win the round. Rinko was gasping for air because she was doing everything on her own while she was getting attacked relentlessly, while Riku was laughing as he did nothing.
End of flashback
Rinko: So...yeah.
Haruna: I don't know what to say.....
Kurumi: Amazing.....but scary at the same time....
Rinko: Well, I kinda got used to it at this point. Miyu-chan, let's go. We don't want to keep Riku waiting.
Miyu nodded as the two left the balcony to get ready.
Timeskip...…..
7 Rainbow Yokohama Branch - 9:00 A.M.
Riku POV
After leaving Rinko and Miyu, I proceeded to the garage to prepare the REZVANI. As I was preparing the car, Rinko and Miyu came with a minute to spare.
Miyu asked me where we were heading first, but I assured them they would find out once we arrived. As I entered the car, Miyu and Rinko were debating who would sit next to me. Finally, they decided that Miyu would sit with me on the way to Yokohama, and Rinko's turn once we return to Tokyo.
We arrived at Yokohama after traveling for at least an hour from Tokyo. And the first thing we have to do is.....Rinko and Miyu needs some clothes for our date. And I know just the place.
It took at least 5 minutes till we reached our destination.
Riku: We're here.
As the three of us stepped out of the car, there was a huge white European-style building in front of us. From the window, we can see a variety of clothes of the highest quality. And the sign 7 Rainbow can be seen in the front.
Miyu: Riku-san, this place...
Riku: Yup. The first place that I want to take you is here. 7 Rainbow.
7 Rainbow is one of Japan's most popular clothing brands. 7 Rainbow uses only the highest quality cloth. And the main draw of this brand is that the costs are reasonable, so it will not be out of reach for certain people from middle-class backgrounds.
The clothing designed by 7 Rainbow is worn by some of Japan's most influential figures. They also have a global presence with multiple branches. Not only that, but 7 Rainbow is the official clothing partner of OG and several professional bands.
Riku: Let's go inside. We're already wasting time.
Riku and the girls entered the store. And as they got inside, they were greeted by the person in charge.
Staff: Welcome to 7 Rainbow. How may I help- Nagae-sama! It's a pleasure to see you here!
Riku: Hm. Me and the girls are here to buy some clothes. Is Alice around?
The staff shook her head telling that I just missed her.
Staff: No. Alice-sama left for an important errand. Some girl with long blond hair wearing a witch hat dragged her out of here. And by the look on her face, it was serious.
So Marisa took Alice. Why am I not surprised. But if the staff said that Marisa was being serious....then it might be related to the hole yesterday. With Marisa's knowledge on magic, Patchy's countless magic books and Alice's adaptability, they might be able to find out what happened.
Riku: Very well. Can you help these girls in picking their clothes?
Staff: Understood. If you two please follow me.
Rinko: Riku. Who is this Alice? Is it Nakiri Alice?
Riku: No. It's a different Alice. Her name is Alice Margatroid. One of my closest friends.
Miyu: So she owns this shop?
Riku: Yup. She built this business from the ground up, and it has grown to become one of Japan's leading fashion brands. And what are you still standing here? Go. I will be in the men's section. Take your time, okay? But not too long.
I left them as I head to the men's section, while Rinko and Miyu followed the staff so they can pick their own set of clothes.
Riku: Now then, let's see what Alice made this time.
Meanwhile with Rinko and Miyu.....
Rinko POV
We followed the staff to the women's section of the store, where they displayed a selection of high-quality clothing. I attempted to touch one and could tell that the fabric used was something I could not get my hands on.
Staff: Have you chosen on what to buy?
Rinko: Uh...no, not yet. I'm just taking a feel on the fabric.
Staff: I see. Here at 7 Rainbow, the fabric that we use has a special feature, where even at the hottest days here in Japan, you will still feel the breeze of the wind go through your body. And we use that in everything we make here.
Miyu: With that, we won't have to worry about getting sweaty whenever we perform.
I looked over and I saw Miyu-chan already chose what to wear, and brought several other clothes that took to her liking.
Rinko: You've already picked what to wear that fast?
Miyu: Well, while you were checking the fabric's quality, I already went ahead and picked mine. I also took the time to get some clothes that I want. I mean Riku-san is paying for this right?
Rinko: I-Is that so....
I looked around to see what would look good on me. Most of what I see are....too flashy...but as I look around for a little longer, I found what I want to wear.
Rinko: This will do....I'm sure Riku will like this. I'll take these too. This will look good for me.
The staff member approached me as she sees that I made my choice.
Staff: So you two have made your choice?
Me and Miyu-chan nodded as the staff member took us to the dressing room.
Staff: You girls can try the clothes that you picked. And you can wear it the moment you pay for it okay?
The staff member left us as both of us entered our respective dressing room.
Rinko: Here goes nothing.....
Few minutes later.....
3rd POV
We go to Riku at the counter as he's waiting for Rinko and Miyu . Riku's wearing a different set of clothes compared to the last. He's now wearing a black shirt, dark brown pants and a dark red jacket. His scarf is still wrapped around his neck. As for his hat, it's on his back as it does not fit his current get-up.
Miyu: Sorry we took a while Riku-san!
Riku turned right as he saw Miyu and Rinko in their new clothes.
Miyu is wearing a white short-sleeved blouse and she's also wearing a black skirt that barely reached her knees. And for Rinko, she's wearing a blue short-sleeved blouse and a white skirt that at least reached her knees.
Riku was just staring at his fiances as Rinko approached him to see if he's okay.
Rinko: Riku, are you okay?
Riku: I'm alright Rinko....it's just that...you two looked more beautiful.
Rinko and Miyu flushed red from Riku's compliment, but the staff coughed dryly so they can stop flirting in front of the counter.
Staff: Sorry to interrupt but...your total payment is here.
The staff member gave the receipt to Riku and it was just at least 300,000 yen. Riku decided to pay it via credit card and it was approved.
Staff: Thank you for your purchase! Hope to see you-
Rinko: Um...excuse me!
Staff: Yes?
Rinko: Is there a chance that you sell fabric here?
The staff member raised an eyebrow to Rinko's question, and Riku stepped in to explain Rinko's request.
Riku: You see, Rinko here creates the costumes for her band.
Staff: Is that so. Then yes, we do sell some fabric. But it'll be a bit pricey.
Riku: It doesn't matter if it's pricey. I'll pay for it.
Rinko: Riku, you don't have to do this much for me.
Riku: I did this because I wanted to. And I can tell from your face that you have some ideas for your bands next costume right?
Rinko: Yeah....I've already came up with some ideas, but I need a special kind of fabric for it. And 7 Rainbow has it.
Riku: Then how much fabric do you need?
Rinko: Hmmmm....I'll be needing at least 15 yards of it.
Riku: Well, you heard her. We'll be buying 15 yards of it.
Staff: What about the color scheme of the fabric? Here's the color catalog. Pick from those colors and we'll take it from there.
Rinko stepped close to the counter ass he picked the colors she needed for the costumes that she'll make. After picking the colors, she returned the catalog to the staff member.
Staff: Very well. We'll be delivering this to the Nagae estate in a few days. Will that do?
Riku: Yeah, that will do.
Staff: Then once again, thank you for your purchase. Hope to see you again.
The three left as they head back to the car.
Miyu: Rinko-san, I didn't know that you make your bands costumes.
Rinko: Well.....you didn't asked....and it's kinda embarrassing telling everyone that I was the one who make Roselia's costumes. Only my band knows of it.
Miyu: But still, you're quite talented in making clothes. You don't have to worry in the service cost in making it.
Rinko: Thanks.....I mean I was planning to go to a clothing design university when I graduate but.....with my commitment to Roselia...I don't think that I might be able to-
Riku put his hand on Rinko's shoulder to lift her spirits up.
Riku: You'll be able to make it Rinko. You just need to find the right university to balance your school work and your time with the band. I'll ask Genji-sama about this.
Rinko: Genji-sama?
Riku: The head of the Hinanawi Family. The Hinanawi are basically in charge of the country's Department of Education.
Miyu and Rinko both looked at Riku with surprised looks as he blurted out that one of the Celestial Families are in charge of one the country's important departments.
Rinko: Are you serious?
Riku: Yup. Aside from the Hinanawi in charge of the Department of Education, the Nagae are in charge of the Department of Food and Agriculture.
Miyu: Then all of the food that we-
Riku: Yup. all of them are signed and approved by us. But grandfather takes care of the other regions, while he's given me the reigns here in the Kanto region.
Miyu: That's a lot of responsibility Riku-san. I mean we could help you at least.
Riku: Then I'll take up on that offer when the time comes.
By the time they finished talking, they've reached the car and put the things that they bought from 7 Rainbow at the side.
Riku: Now that we're all dressed up, let's go to the second destination.
Rinko: Where are we going next?
Riku: An anime store.
Rinko/Miyu: An anime store?
Riku: Yup. If you girls want to buy something for yourselves, then be my guest.
Rinko/Miyu: Really?!
Rinko and Miyu's eyes shined with excitement as they want to buy something for themselves. And the best part is, Riku will be paying for it. Riku just nodded and Rinko grabbed his hand.
Rinko: What are you waiting for Riku. Drive!
Riku was just surprised with Rinko's sudden change in attitude. he just said nothing as he just drive their way to their next destination.
Few minutes later....
Lashinbang Yokohama Branch - 10:15 A.M.
Riku POV
After we finished shopping at 7 Rainbow, we head our way to Lashinbang, one of the biggest anime stores in the country. Though the biggest branch is in Akiba and it has most of the anime figures, but the Yokohama branch has the things that I needed to buy.
And as we entered the store, I turned to Rinko and Miyu to give them some instructions before they go to their own way.
Riku: Now before you girls go buy whatever you want. I want to clear this out. I'm on a budget for this. The clothes that we bought at 7 Rainbow costs along with the fabric was at least half a million yen.
Rinko/Miyu: Eh?
Rinko: Half a million?
Miyu: It was that expensive?
Riku: I mean the quality of the fabric is that high, and add the 300,000 yen in clothes...yeah, it'll be that expensive
Rinko felt dejected from hearing that most of the money that we were planning to use was spent on the fabric. But I assured Rinko that she has nothing to worry about.
Riku: Don't worry, we still have a lot in our budget. So we can let loose a bit here.
Miyu: How much was the budget in the first place?
Riku: About 1,500,000 yen.
Rinko and Miyu's eyes widened to hear that the budget on our date was at least a million yen.
Riku: And we still have some places to go, so don't go overboard on what you buy...
Miyu: How about we set a threshold on what me and Rinko-san will buy. Let's say.....150,000 yen?
Riku: A good idea. Alright, the budget for each of you is 150,000 yen or at least 1,000 dollars. Once you finish picking what you want, we'll meet at the counter to check-out.
Rinko and Miyu nodded and the three of us separated. I immediately went to the mecha corner as I look if the one I'm looking for is still there.
Riku: Let's see if it's still here. I did tell the owner to reserve that for me. And after a few minutes of searching, I finally found what I was looking for.
Riku: The limited edition 00 Quan[T] Full Saber Fullmetal Edition.....I'm sure Sanae will like this. Now that I got what I came for, let's buy something for me...maybe I'll buy something for Mafuyu and Tina.
One shopping spree later...
After several minutes of nonstop shopping for anime figures and stuff, me and the girls are at the counter getting the things we bought checked out.
Riku: By the looks on your faces, you quite enjoyed this, right?
Miyu: Most definitely so Riku-san. I manage to buy the figurines that I wanted that will take me at least 2 to 5 days to wait. I also bought some for Haruna-chan, Miiko-chan and Kurumi-chan. I'm sure that they'll be happy with what I bought.
Rinko: So am I. There were several figures that caught my eye. And I bought some for Yukina-san and the others as well.
Riku: I'm glad that you get to buy what you girls want. But the question is, is it under the budget?
Rinko: Me and Miyu-chan calculated everything before coming here, so I think we're good.
I just nodded to Rinko as the cashier finished scanning the things we bought and the total was at least 1,600 dollars for the girls, but the 00 Quan[T] was expensive, it was worth at east 600 dollars....Jesus.....but nonetheless, it was under the budget. And as for what I bought for myself, I spent at least 300 dollars for it. We still have some money left, so we're good.
As we left the shop and put our stuff at the back of the car, I heard Rinko's stomach growling.
Riku: Rinko, was that you?
Rinko slowly nodded in shame that her stomach growled in front of me. But I just let it slide as I was getting hungry too.
Riku: Well I was getting a bit hungry as well, let's get something to eat before we continue. And I know where to go.
Rinko: Let's hope it's not too expensive.
Miyu: Come on now Rinko-san. What could go wrong?
Rinko: There was one time that Riku took me for dinner, and I ordered something that is worth 2 million yen.
Miyu didn't say anything after hearing that from Rinko.
Riku: Don't worry, where we're going has food that are affordable.
Rinko: Well if you say so. Let's go.

Southern Home Japan Branch - 11:30 A.M.
After our visit at Lashingban, we went to one of the few restaurants I know in Yokohama. After a few minutes of driving, we came to a large American-themed building with a southern theme.
Riku: We're here.
Miyu: What is this place Riku-san?
Riku: Southern Home. One of the few restaurants in Japan that serves true American southern cuisine. My parents take me here whenever they have time, I generally come with Yuyuko-san when they aren't available. And because the prices are affordable, it is extremely popular among the general public.
Rinko: Then the owner of this place is a real American since you told us that this place has-
???: I TOLD YOU TO PUT IT ON THE GRILL A FEW SECONDS AGO DAMMIT!!!
We heard a shout from inside the restaurant, and whoever it was was clearly angry. And I already know who it is. Rinko and Miyu took a few steps back from the loud noise since they didn't want to come in.
Riku: Well, let's not waste anytime, let's get in.
Miyu: Are you sure? I mean, there was a loud noise coming from the inside.
Riku: Oh, that was the owner. Don't worry, I know who that is. And besides, Rinko is getting a bit hungry right now.
Rinko: Riku!!
Rinko smacked my back in embarrassment, but I didn't mind because it didn't hurt. We had just made our way to the entrance, and as I opened the door, there stood a tall man with black skin and a very muscular figure dressed in a dark green chef suit, the same color as the military, dark brown pants, and black boots. He has black military-cut hair, dark eyes, and a mustache.
Rinko and Miyu were shaking as they felt intimidated from his presence. But the fear faded away the moment the chef spoke to Riku.
???: How can I hel- Riku!! My boy!! Good to see you!!
Riku: It's good to see you again, chef Rush.
Chef Rush gave me a hug with his very muscular arms, and after that , he gave me a high five.
Miyu: Riku-san, you know him?
Riku: Girls, this is chef Andre Rush. A former soldier who's now one of the most famous chefs in the US. He also cooks for the president. A specialist in Southern Cuisine and desserts.
The girls were amazed from the chefs achievements. Cooking for the president of a powerful country is something that can be considered an honor.
Rinko: It's an honor to meet someone with such status. I am Shirokane Rinko.....please to meet you....
Miyu: And I'm Sakurada Miyu, a pleasure to meet you, chef Rush.
Andre: Pleasure's all mine ladies. Like Riku said earlier, I'm Andre Rush. or call me chef Rush. Now, what brings you here?
Riku: I would like to get a table for three please.
Andre: Sure, come in. HEY! GET YOUR ASSES MOVING! AND GET THESE THREE A TABLE FOR THREE DAMMIT!!!
Rinko and Miyu flinched when chef Rush suddenly shouted in English. But I just chuckled at it as I was used to it.
Riku: Don't worry girls, he does this all the time.
Rinko: Really? I mean.....it might discourage them.
Andre: Quite the contrary, young lady. Shouting at them improves their discipline and ensures that they are always prepared for anything. The manner I yell at them doesn't discourage them; instead, it gives them more motivation.
Miyu: Did you learn that at the military, chef Rush?
Andre: The discipline came from my father. He taught me to be disciplined at all times and never get too hot headed.
Riku: I gotta ask, why are you here in Japan?
Andre: Well, I want to get some inspiration here in Japan before I return to the capital. I just stopped by at this place to see how it's goin'. So, are you three on a date or somethin?
Riku: Well....you can say that...I'll spare you the details once we get seated. You have time to hear it?
Chef Rush looked at his watch as he nodded at me.
Andre: Yeah, I got time.
Staff: We have the table ready, please follow me.
We followed the staff as he brought us to our table. As we got to our seats and made our orders, chef Rush took a chair from a vacant table to seat with us as I tell what happened to my life in the last few months.....
After several minutes of talking, chef Rush nodded at first, then began laughing. After calming down, He looked at me with very serious eyes.
Andre: Damn kid, you really in went through it in just a few months.
Riku: Yeah. But things are going in the right direction for us. If things go well, then I have nothing to worry about. And I might come out of retirement early.
Andre: I like that your drive to compete is still there. But you gotta lay off for a while alright? I mean those two young ladies beside you will be there by your side. So it's okay to rely on them.
Riku: Thanks for the advice.
Andre: No problem. I gotta go now, my flight leaves in an hour by now.
Riku: Have a safe flight chef.
Chef Rush gave me a salute as he left the restaurant.
Rinko: Chef Rush is a very interesting person.
Miyu: And he's not as scary as he looks.
Riku: He may look like that, but he's a big softie.
Rinko: Riku, I want to ask this yesterday, but I didn't get a chance. I want to ask....
Riku: How much is my networth, right?
Rinko was surprised that I know what she was gonna say to me.
Rinko: But how did you-
Riku: It's kinda obvious you know?
Miyu: An interesting question Rinko-san. We know that Riku-san will make a harem of his own. So it's kinda important to know how much does Riku-san's networth is.
Riku: You too Miyu? Okay, I'll tell you. If it's simply from my winnings at Ti and Future Worlds Fes, it's at least $10 million. And with the sponsorship deals I had and my contract with OG, it will be at least $8 million.
Miyu: So a total of 18 million from your years as a pro. But that won't be enough....the rule did say that a male from a high-
Riku: I know that. But I didn't say that it's just from music. See that bakery across the street?
I pointed to the window and across the street was a huge white western themed building that is at least 2 stories high and it has the name Pantasia on top.
Rinko: Isn't that one of Japan's top bakeries?
Miyu: Pantasia? You're right. But why did you ask that Riku-san?
Riku: Simple. Because I own Pantasia.
Rinko/Miyu: Eh?
Rinko and Miyu paused for a moment and after a few seconds of silence, they screamed at the top of their lungs.
Rinko/Miyu: EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?
Due to my fiance's scream, one of the staff rushed to us to see what was the problem.
Staff: Is something wrong sir?
Riku: It's nothing. The girls were just surprised, that's all. Sorry for bothering you.
The staff eventually left, then Rinko slammed her hands on the table, demanding for some answers.
Rinko: Riku, what do you mean that you own Pantasia?
Riku: I meant what I said. I basically own at least 60% of Pantasia.
Miyu: How did you own Pantasia in the first place? If I remember, Pantasia is owned by the Azusagawa and not the Nagae.
Riku: Well, you are not wrong. The Azusagawa continues to run Pantasia, but it is now legally owned by the Nagae. And as for why it happened...According to my grandfather, Pantasia and another bakery, St. Pierre, have been rivals for a long time, to the point where their employees are hostile to one another. However, Kirisaki Yuuichi, the owner of St. Pierre, pressed Pantasia's owner to sell Pantasia so that it could be absorbed into St. Pierre. But before anything happened, Sanzaemon-dono was there to mediate between the two sides. And both parties agreed to settle it in a Shokugeki.
Rinko: SHOKUGEKI?!
Miyu: Rinko-san, what's a Shokugeki?
Rinko: A Shokugeki is a tradition in Totsuki Academy. Where 2 sides will fight in a cooking competition where they bet something on the line. But how did you end up in a Shokugeki?
Riku: Pantasia and St. Pierre need to find a representative who will fight for them. One of the requirements is that their chosen representative be neutral to both parties. Pantasia chose me as a representative because Sanzaemon-dono recommended me, and I am more of a musician than a baker.
Rinko: How old were you when you started this?
Riku: Right before I became a member for OG. So it's around when I was 15. But I didn't know that the Shokugeki that I was getting into is where everything is on the line.
Rinko: Everything? Right. What about the stakes of the Shokugeki? What did Pantasia and St. Pierre bet on?
Riku: If St. Pierre wins, they get Pantasia. As well as the Azusagawa's assets.
Miyu: That is too much!! Why would they want with that?
Riku: That I don't know. What I can think of is that they want to expand with that money. Make St. Pierre a global pastry empire.
Rinko: But it didn't happen. Pantasia is still standing, which means you won, right? What did Pantasia get when they won?
Riku: Pantasia gets St. Pierre, and barring Kirisaki Yuuichi from ever setting foot in the pastry business ever again.
Rinko: But it didn't stop there right?
Riku: There's one more thing. When the Shokugeki concluded, we learned that the Shokugeki I was fighting at was being used as a gambling pit. Several influential people from around the world were making wagers on who would win. And all of them were betting on St. Pierre.
Rinko and Miyu couldn't believe that my Shokugeki was becoming as a gambling pit. But since I won, they were quite relieved.
Miyu: If all of those big names betted on St. Pierre and you won.....how much did you win?
Riku: 100 billion yen.
I just bluntly told them that I won 100 billion yen and I looked at my fiance's that their eyes were about to leave their eye sockets in shock.
Rinko: 1-1-1-1-100 BILLION?!?!
Miyu: THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY RIKU-SAN!!
Riku: Yeah, it was a lot. I decided to not take the money at first, but the General Manager of Pantasia, Sylvan Kirisaki insisted that I should take 60% of the money as a form of thanks.
Rinko: 60% of the 100 billion....that means you have 60 billion yen.
Miyu: If you turn that into dollars....
Riku: I have at least 383 million dollars...just by that Shokugeki alone. Which means that I passed the rule that Okina-sama placed down.
Rinko(whisper): So Riku can have at least 5 wives including us.....or more.....
I overheard Rinko said that. But I chose to not pry into it.
Miyu: But one question remains, how did you become the owner?
Riku: When the fight concluded, the previous owner of Pantasia stepped down and named me as its new owner. But I quickly refused. We made some revisions for a few days and decided that the Nagae would own Pantasia in my name and make the Azusagawa Family a vassal family of the Nagae, managing everything in Pantasia.
Rinko: And everything worked out.
Riku: Yup. Ever since the Nagae took control of Pantasia, sales have been going high. We have a few branches in some countries, but it'll do for now.
Rinko: I wonder how will Yamabuki-san react to this...
Riku: Right....her family owns a bakery too...guess I have to relocate some branches once we get back.
Waiter: Thank you for waiting, dear customers. Here are your orders.
The waiter brought our food and placed it on the table. Miyu got the Chicken and Waffles drizzled in Red Maple Syrup with Butter Mashed Potatoes. Rinko got the Louisiana Shrimp Po Boy. And I got the spicy Shrimp Jambalaya....and I made my order extra spicy as well.
Waiter: Call me once you pay the bill. Enjoy your meal.
The waiter left and I see Rinko and Miyu drooling a bit from the food.
Riku: Well let's not wait any longer.
Riku/Miyu/Rinko: Itadakimasu!!
Timeskip...
Yokohama Batting Center - 5:00 P.M.
3rd POV
After finishing their lunch and paying the bill, the three proceeded to have fun. They began at the arcade, when Riku and Rinko found out that Miyu is a literal luck sack. They were playing crane games at the moment, and Miyu seemed to win prizes on the first try. Riku made a mental note to keep Miyu away from gacha games for her sake.
Rinko and Riku were having a great time at the arcade's fighting games, and they were being challenged by almost everyone. Rinko suffered some losses, while Riku was on a roll. Beating every challenger without losing one pixel of health. And with that feat, Riku's name was added to the arcade's hall of fame for achieving 250 consecutive wins without losing any health.
After winning a lot of prizes at the arcade and most of their afternoon, the three went to the batting cage on Miyu's recommendation. Rinko and Riku inquired as to why, and Miyu explained that she wanted to try visiting there, so Riku accepted her request.
Riku took them to the Yokohama Batting Center that is used by the pro baseball team Yokohama Blue Oceans (A/N: If you watch Major when you were a kid, then you know the reference). Luckily, Riku knew the owner of the place, so he lets them use the batting center. In return, they would want to get Riku's data in his swings, which he accepted.
They spent at least one hour in the batting cage. Riku hit a lot home runs, while the majority of his hits were at least line drives. Miyu hit a couple home runs, while Rinko managed to hit a few balls, but she was quickly fatigued and her arms were worn out.
Seeing Rinko getting tired, Riku decided to call it a break.
Riku: Let's take a break.
Hearing Riku calling for a break was a relief for Rinko as she was already tired. She slumped to one of the benches and Miyu passed her a drink.
Rinko: Thank you, Miyu-chan.
Miyu: You're welcome.
Riku: So Miyu, how's your first experience here at the batting cage?
Miyu: One of the best things I've ever done! Next time, I'll take Haruna-chan and the others in places like this!
Rinko: I think Shiratori-san and Takeshita-san will most likely enjoy that.
Riku: And I can see Haruna will struggle.
The three shared a chuckle as they were imagining Haruna struggling. Riku then looked at his fiances as he asked them if they enjoyed their time today.
Riku: Rinko, Miyu. Did you enjoy everything we did today?
Rinko: It was the best days of my life, Riku.....I enjoyed every moment of it.
Miyu: I enjoyed it as well. It's the first time I've experienced going out with you.
Riku: I'm glad.....
Rinko: Riku. I want to ask this.....what would you do if Okina-sama and the other Celestial Family heads didn't create the harem plan?
Miyu looked at Rinko as it got her to thinking as well. What would've Riku done, if the Celestial Families hadn't plan to create a harem law.
Riku: To be honest....if that wasn't the case, I would've used my Pledge to ask for the both of you to be my fiance.
Rinko: Pledge?
Riku: A sacred vow to the Celestial Families. Once a pledge is used, one has to commit for life until the conditions are fulfilled. Breaking the pledge will lead to a death sentence. And this pledge can only be used once in our lifetime.
Rinko: Commit....then-
Riku: Yes. I would've used my pledge in front of your parents. If that were to happen, I would have to commit my life to the two of you. And the two of you only.
Rinko and Miyu blushed red to Riku's decision. They were happy that Riku was planning to devote himself to them, but at the same time, they were worried about the penalties in breaking the pledge.
Miyu: So you dodged the bullet with the plan in place right?
Riku: Yeah...
Miyu: When Okina-sama and the other heads told us of the plan, you had the chance to choose either one of us.....yet you didn't.....why?
Riku: You know, I have been told about that last night....The reason I can't decide between both of you is that I can't bear the thought of one of you breaking down from heartbreak. And I can't imagine seeing one of you with another man....I felt compelled to protect you two with all my heart, even if it would cost my life.
Miyu: Riku-san....if you say it like that, I might fall for you even more....
Miyu covered her face as she was blushing deep red. Rinko stood up from the bench and took a hold on Riku's hands.
Rinko: I have mentioned this at the Hakugyokurou yesterday, I do not care if you have more wives. You are the man I want to spend my future with. I made my decision the instant I fell for you. So don't worry about us being with another man. Because, in our eyes, you are the only one for both me and Miyu-chan.
Miyu: Rinko-san's right. You're the only one for me, Riku-san. And to prove that my love for you is true...
Miyu grabs Riku's face and places her lips to his. Rinko covered her mouth in shock as Miyu kissed Riku on the lips. Riku did not resist, wrapping his arms around Miyu's waist. The kiss lasted a few minutes, and as they broke the kiss, Miyu looked at Riku with love-filled eyes.
Miyu: Is that proof enough for you?
Riku: Miyu...I.....thank you....
Miyu: You're welcome. And that is my first kiss. And I gotta say, you're one good kisser, Riku-san~
Riku blushed when Miyu teased him a bit, while Miyu and Rinko were shocked to see Riku blushed for the first time.
Miyu: Did you just blushed?
Rinko: This is the first time I've seen him blush...
Riku: I blush too, you know.....
Miyu: Guess that shows that you're human too. Riku-san, I think you forgot someone.
Riku thought about what Miyu meant and took a few seconds to realize. He gazed at Rinko, and the latter understood his intentions. Rinko got near to Riku, and the two of them enjoyed their third kiss. And, like Miyu's, the kiss lasted a few minutes. It was warm and full of true affection, something they shared for years. Normally, the security cameras are live, but the owner decided to disable them for a while to protect their privacy.
When the two parted from the kiss, Rinko asked Riku if he is willingly to take in more wives in the future.
Rinko: Riku....are you planning to get more wives? I mean you passed several rules that Okina-sama laid out...
Riku just stared at Rinko. At Riku's mind, she has a point.
Riku: That depends...but I can already identify 2 girls who has some interest in me.
Rinko: Really? Who?
Riku: Wakana Rei.
Rinko: Wakana-san?
Miyu: Isn't she the vocalist from Raise A Suilen?
Riku: The very same. As to how I figured it out....she kinda hinted to me right before they performed at CiRCLE. She literally said to me "I'll make sure your eyes are always on me". And that gave me the idea that she's having feelings for me.
Rinko: You figured it out just like that? Then who's the second?
Riku: Ayase Eli.
Rinko: Eh? Ayase-san?
Miyu: Ayase Eli?
Riku: Ayase Eli. A School Idol from the School Idol group named μ's. She's a 3rd year like me and Rinko. Me and Eli met a year ago when she went to Russia to see her cousin perform. Her cousin is a pro like me.
Miyu: Oh my~ This could be a big scandal if word spreads out!
Rinko: You're right....Riku nearly had a problem with Chisato-san...if it's with someone from μ's, who's on the rise right now....it might be more problematic....but how are you sure that she has feelings for you?
Riku: She confessed to me two months before TI10 started.
Rinko/Miyu: EHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!
Riku closed his ears with both of his hands from the screaming.
Riku: You two are too loud.
Rinko: Sorry. It's just that I didn't expect Ayase-san confessing to you.
Riku: Truth to be told, I didn't expect it either. She just confessed to me straight out. I can still remember that time.....it took all of her courage to express her feelings to me.
Miyu: How did she develop those feelings for you?
Riku: Before I can tell that....remember that I told you that Eli's cousin's a pro right? Take a wild guess who her cousin is.
Rinko gave it some thought and trying to think of a name. After a few minutes, she shook her head as she has no name to give.
Riku: Guess you don't know. Well, her cousin's Miposhka.
Rinko widened her eyes when she heard that Eli's cousin is the captain of Team Spirit.
Rinko: Wait, Ayase-san's cousin is the captain of Team Spirit?!
Riku: Trust me, I was surprised as well. I didn't expect that Eli and Yaroslav were related.
Miyu: Yaroslav?
Riku: Miposhka's real name is Yaroslav Naidenov. But I think we're getting off topic for a moment....the reason why she developed those feelings for me, is that before she met me, she hated men.
Rinko: Ayase-san hated men?
Riku: With the exception of her relatives and cousins. When we first met, she was constantly on guard and seemed hostile to me. But after a few days, She noticed that Miposhka and I were getting along really well. So she became intrigued and attempted to open up to me. And as the days passed, we became good friends, and her faith in me grew to the point where she trusted me completely.
Miyu: Then what about her confession? How did you reject her?
Riku: *sigh*.....telling her the truth was hard you know.....she was the first girl to confess to me...well besides Chisato, but Chisato is my childhood friend and Eli is a different matter...in the end, I told her everything.
Rinko: Everything?
Riku: Yes, everything. That includes my feelings for you Rinko.
Miyu: Then what happened next? Did she....you know...lash out to you?
Riku: I was expecting that she'll do that to me but.....she accepted it. She even told me that even though I rejected her, at the very least we could stay as friends. But with all that's happened right now.....
Rinko: She might get her chance once again...
Miyu: Reignite her love for you.....you think she'll do it?
Riku: Like I said, that'll depend on them. I will only act if things get dicey. If they decide to be with me, then I will welcome them....but you two will have the final say. You two are my eventual first and second wives, so it'll be your decision as well to either welcome them or reject them.....
Rinko: That's a lot of pressure for us Riku.....
Riku: It sure is....but I know that you two can handle it.
Rinko looked at her watch as she sees the time is already 5.
Rinko: I think it's time for us to head back.
Riku looked at his watch to see the time, and he agreed to Rinko's words.
Riku: You're right. I guess we enjoyed playing here too much, we didn't notice the time.
Miyu: And we have school tomorrow....
Riku: That too. You girls go ahead, I'll tell the owner that we're leaving.
Rinko and Miyu nodded as they get to the car and Riku went to the owner, telling him that they're leaving.
Timeskip.....
Nagae Estate - 6:30 P.M.
Riku POV
After telling the owner that we were leaving the batting center, he informed me that the video footage of everything that happened inside had been deleted, which I am grateful for.
After leaving the batting center, we stopped by a local takoyaki stand for a quick snack. After that, the three of us will be driving from Yokohama to Tokyo....and, as promised, Rinko will sit alongside me this time.
As I drove, Yuyuko-san informed me that Rinko and Miyu's companions had arrived safely at their houses. She also mentioned that the Celestial Families and other well-known figures had congratulated me on our engagement. Even his Majesty bestowed his blessing upon us.
After an hour of driving, we arrived back at the Nagae Estate. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we loaded everything we bought from 7 Rainbow and Lashingban, as well as the prizes Miyu won in the arcade, into the cart that was provided to us.
As we were walking to the entrance, Rinko asked me that why are she and Miyu are here at the estate, but I told her that it will be explained once we get inside. And as we got inside, I was greeted by my grandfather.
Kyoya: Welcome home Riku, Rinko and you too Miyu. How was your date?
Riku: It was...eventful. And one of the best rest days that I ever had.
Kyoya: Good. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time. As for Rinko and Miyu's belongings, they're already here and organized at the estate a while ago.
Riku: Right on time.
Rinko: Wait, what do you mean our stuff is here?
Kyoya: Right, you two didn't know. The thing is, while you three were having your date, I hired some people to get your belongings from your homes and bring them here.
Miyu: So our date....was to stall us?
Rinko and Miyu looked at me as they felt kinda betrayed that I just took them on a date just to stall.
Riku: I had no intentions on that. Grandfather and your parents were planning on that.
Rinko: Mom and dad planned it?
Kyoya: Yesterday, when you kids left for the studio, we adults talked about the moving procedures. And we decided to move both of your belongings today. That way you can familiarize yourselves faster here in the estate.
Rinko: I see...sorry for doubting you Riku.
Riku: It's alright.
Kyoya: Now that you girls are officially engaged to Riku. There is a Nagae tradition that you two must follow.
Riku: Ah, that. Rinko, Miyu. Whatever grandfather does, just accept it.
And right on que, grandfather snapped his fingers, and two maids arrived. The maid on grandfather's left was a reasonably tall maid, almost as tall as me, with long blue braided hair that reached her hips. She has silver eyes, wears glasses, and has a spade-shaped hair clip on her head. And the maid on my grandfather's right is a girl with short dark red hair, emerald green eyes, and a diamond-shaped hair clip on her head.
Kyoya: As per the Nagae tradition, you two will receive a personal aide that will help you in your daily lives here. On my left is Kenzaki Kazehana who will be Rinko's aide, and on my right is Tachibana Sakurako and she'll be Miyu's aide.
(A/N: Kenzaki Kazehana and Tachibana Sakurako is the female versions of Kenzaki Kazuma and Tachibana Sakuya from Kamen Rider Blade. As to why I did this...I just felt like it)
Kazehana and Sakurako stepped forward as they introduced themselves to Rinko and Miyu.
Kaehana: I'm Kenzaki Kazehana. It's a pleasure to work for you, Rinko-sama.
Rinko: S-same here.....Kazehana-san...
Sakurako: And I'm Tachibana Sakurako! Let's get along together from now on, Miyu-sama!
Miyu: A pleasure to meet you too, Sakurako-san!
Kyoya: Now that you've met your respective aides...Kaehana, Sakurako. Your priority is their safety. Whatever happens to them, report to me or Riku, understood?
Kaehana/Sakurako: HAI, OYAKATA-SAMA!!
Kyoya: Good. Now, you tow can take them to their rooms, I want to have a word with my grandson. You two, you an take Rinko and Miyu to their rooms.
Kazehana and Sakurako bowed to us as they take Rinko and Miyu to their rooms.
Kyoya: Let's head to my office, so we can take this conversation privately.
I nodded to grandfather's request. And before we head to his office, grandfather called in Youmu to take my stuff directly to my room while we make our way to grandfather's office.
Nagae Estate - Kyoya's Office
6:15 P.M.
We've reached the office and both of us took a seat in the couch, while Eiji-san was serving us some tea.
Riku: So, what is it you want to talk about?
Kyoya: We got some results.....regarding to what happened yesterday.
I raised a brow when grandfather told me that they've finally found out what the main reason of the incident yesterday.
Riku: What's the result?
Kyoya: Remember the time that Aya and Momiji brought that grimoire to young Kosuzu?
Riku: I did. Aya and Momiji took it to her to get it checked out....don't tell me that the hole was a result from the grimoire's magic?
Kyoya: That was the result that was given to us. Marisa-kun, Alice-kun and Patchouli-kun spent the entire day in figuring it out.
Riku: So that's why Alice wasn't at 7 Rainbow today.....but the question is, how did that happen in the first place?
Kyoya: Young Kosuzu told us what happened. She told us that the magic was invoked through young Kosuzu's curiosity.
Riku: So Kusuzu's curiosity on the grimoire is what invoked that magic? Then that means, the grimoire has some sort of magic that can lure people into using it.
Kyoya: Yes. So they decided to give the grimoire to Patchouli to reinforce it in any way she can.
Riku: If Patchy is the one taking care of it, then we have nothing to worry.....is there anything else that I missed out?
Kyoya: It's about the invite that the Moriya sent us earlier. You will be going, right?
Riku: Yup. I bought something for Sanae and I plan to give it to her during the party. And I want to bring Mafuyu, Tina, Rinko and Miyu as well along with me there. The invite did say that I can take at least 4 people with me.
Kyoya: It did say that you're allowed to bring a few people with you. Any reason why you want to bring them?
Riku: For Tina, she has a few friends there.....mainly Cirno and Daiyousei. For Mafuyu....I can tell that Hata no Kokoro will be coming there as well. I might be able to get something if I bring Mafuyu there. As for Rinko and Miyu, I want to introduce my fiance's to them.
Kyoya: Hm.....reasonable....very well. You can go now. I can tell that you're tired, and you have school tomorrow.
Riku: Very well, then goodnight, grandfather.
I stood up from the couch and made my way to the door. But grandfather called me as he forgot something to say.
Kyoya: Riku. Before I forget, regarding your engagement with Rinko and Miyu. Aside from the other heads, his majesty and several other names...I also informed your childhood friends of it as well.
Riku: YOU WHAT?!? Why did you tell them?! Especially Kokoro! I was planning to tell them tomorrow...
Kyoya: I know that'll be your reaction, but don't worry. They were sworn to keep it under wraps until you say so.
Riku: So until I said that they're free to say it, they'll keep their mouth shut? Fine, I'll take that. When did you informed them of it?
Kyoya: Right before you arrived here.
Riku: I see....I'll be going now. And grandfather...take a break will you?
Kyoya: I'll take up on that offer....now run along now.
With that, I left the office and head my way back to my room.
Meanwhile with Riku's childhood friends...
3rd POV
Seta Residence
We go to Kaoru as she was reading some Shakespearean books in her room. Then all of a sudden, her phone rang.
Kaoru: Hm? A message? From Kyoya-sama?
Kaoru opened the message and while she read the contents of the message, Kaoru showed a smile on her face as she opened the door to her balcony as she went out full on Woz.
Kaoru: Magnificent!! To think that this day would come! The time that ani-sama and Rinko's love has finally reciprocated! This is worthy of a celebration!! But alas, since Kyoya-sama told us to keep it under wraps, I shall imply to do so.
Kaoru returned to her room as she took her phone and sent a message to Riku, congratulating him on his engagement.
Kaoru: Congratulations, ani-sama....may you have a very happy married life in the future ahead. I hope that someone out there.....can be the one for me...
Shirasagi Residence
We go to Chisato's as she's practicing her bass so she can master Yura Yura. She stopped her practice as she heard her phone ringing. Chisato took her phone and opened it and like Kaoru, it was a message from Kyoya.
Chisato opened the message and read through it. As she finished reading, she lets out a soft smile.
Chisato: Looks like Rinko-chan finally did it. And I'm happy for you, onii-sama. But still.....a harem huh? Maybe I....no....I made my choice and I will stick through it.
Chisato put her bass on the guitar stand and laid down on her bed as she was staring at the ceiling.
Chisato: A boyfriend, huh?.....
Mitake Residence
We go to Ran who's with her band as they're helping Himari with her homework.
Tomoe: Come one Himari! Just a few questions and we're done!
Himari: I can do this!!!
While Himari was doing her best finishing her homework..Ran, Moca and Tsugumi were playing video games. But Ran had to pause the game as she felt her phone was vibrating on her pocket.
Ran: Who is it....a message from Kyoya-san?
Tsugumi: You mean Riku-san's grandfather?
Moca: Maybe it's something important~
Ran said nothing as she opened the message. As she read through it, her eyes widened in shock.
Tsugumi: Is something wrong, Ran-chan?
But Ran ignored Tsugumi's question as she showed a smile.
Moca: Ho~ Ran is smiling~ Did something good happened?~
Ran: Here.
Ran showed the message that she was reading to Moca and Tsugumi and their eyes widened as well as they read the message.
Tsugumi: Riku-san and Rinko-san are engaged?!
Tomoe and Himari overheard Tsugumi as they looked at her.
Himari: Tsugu! Is it true?! Riku and Rinko-san are engaged?!
Tsugumi: It's true. Kyoya-san sent Ran-chan a message telling that Riku-san and Rinko-san are officially engaged yesterday.
Ran: And Himari. Don't tell anyone...Kyoya-san has requested that this would be kept secret until nii-san says so.
HImari: Hmmmmm.....so only a select few get to know this.....alright! I'll keep this a secret!
Tomoe: I'll keep it a secret too.
Moca: I'll keep a tight lip too~ As long as Riku-san gives me bread, I'll do what he says~
Ran lightly smacked Moca in the head as Himari, Tsugumi and Tomoe just laughed.
Ran: Idiot....
Tsurumaki Mansion
We go to Kokoro who's with her father in his office. Reason why Kokoro is there, is because her father called her.
Kokoro: Papa! What did you call me for?
Kokoro is talking to a man in his late 30s with short dark blonde hair and dark blue eyes. He's wearing a dark blue suit, with a black tie. The man's name is Tsurumaki Youji.
(A/N: There is no information in Kokoro's father's name, so I'll be using Youji as his name for this one.....)
Youji: Kyoya-sama sent me a message a while ago. And the message entails that your big brother is now engaged to Shirokane Rinko.
Kokoro: Really?! That's great!! I knew that onii-chan and Rinko will be together one day!
Youji: But there's more to it. You see, he's also engaged to Sakurada Miyu, the daughter of the Sakurada family.
Kokoro stopped her celebration as she looked at her father with worry.
Kokoro: Is it bad, papa?
Youji: It's not a bad thing, dear. It's just that Riku will be having a harem in the future.
Kokoro: A harem? What's a harem?
Youji: A harem is where a male has multiple wives at the same time. Your big brother is engaged to two girls right now.
Kokoro: Oh...
Youji: Now what I want to ask you....do you-
Shinzo: No need to ask, she declines.
Youji was surprised that Shinzo took over Kokoro. But her father was confused to why did Shinzo declined instead of Kokoro.
Youji: Shinzo. What do you mean she declined?
Shinzo: Simple. She's already satisfied in being nii's little sister. And not gonna lie, I agree to it too. True that he already has Mafuyu as his real sister, but Kokoro is still adamant in becoming his sister....to her, Nagae Riku is her one and only onii-chan.
Youji: I see.....then can you tell Kokoro to keep it under wraps for now?
Shinzo: I'll see what I can do.
Chiyu's Penthouse
And now we go to Chiyu who's currently resting after a day of practice. Aside from Reona, the others had already left for home. While she was relaxing on the recliner, her phone rang.
Chiyu: Who is it this time? Kyoya-san?
Chiyu opened the message and as she read the message, her eyes widened in shock. Then after reading it for a few seconds, she closed her eyes and lets out a loud sigh.
Chiyu: Looks like it's already begun....
Reona: What has begun, Chu²-sama?
Chiyu turned around and saw Reona, holding a tray of cookies as she places it on the table.
Chiyu: PAREO...its Iku. The Nagae just sent word that iku and Shirokane Rinko are now officially engaged.
Reona: Then that means.....LAYER-san.....
Chiyu took a cookie from the tray as she reclined back.
Chiyu: She'll have to make a decision....either she'll accept it and grow, or hold it in and implode....
Chiyu took a bite on the cookie as she began to think of something that will make her vocalist decide.
