Spadea Meruzzo Upper City District,

"Outrageous! Thompson should be hanged on a street lamp..."

Leaving the Jaidi Family's "Rose Manor," an infuriated Whisk muttered curses while adjusting his crumpled collar.

"Mr. Whisk, please be careful with your words."

Gilma 66, a B-level member of the 8674 Security Company, who looked like a governor, calmly reminded his employer, "In the contract signed between us, there is no provision for confronting the Jaidi Family. Any conflict caused by your side gives us the right to unilaterally terminate the contract."

"I understand,"

As a successful businessman, Whisk quickly composed himself, pushing up his gold-rimmed glasses.

"This time, thanks to your company... no, Mr. 8674's protection, I am very grateful."

Given the Jaidi Family's dominance, if Whisk hadn't hired the mysterious and unpredictable "Jama 66" personnel as bodyguards, he might have found himself walking into the enemy's dungeon. Who knows if he would have made it out in one piece?

"I will make up for the extra expenses later and sign a new security contract with your company. Is that alright?"

"No problem, Mr. Whisk."

For the "Jama 66" Security Company, the so-called "Jaidi Family" was just insignificant ants on the roadside. As long as they were willing to pay, the company could ensure the safety of their clients.

Through "security work" and interaction with numerous active merchants, the company was gradually establishing connections with the powerful aristocrats, which would eventually provide assistance for the revival of the "Vinsmoke Family"!

However, the price...

Looking at Whisk's pained expression, it was evident that the cost was not a small sum!

Those two brats...

Whenever he thought of Rosinante Nandi and Doflamingo, Whisk felt a headache coming on.

He had initially thought they were just two future "great talents," but now, it seemed he wouldn't have to wait for the future: in just a few days, they had angered the Jaidi Family, causing chaos in Spadea Meruzzo.

Characters like them, once they grew up, would surely become the players that stirred the world's winds and clouds!

Because of his connection to them, Whisk almost became the target of the Jaidi Family's wrath and ended up as dog food.

No, "Cerberus" Toro had already been taken care of.

Thinking while walking, the merchant found some amusement in his troubles:

In the future, the only ones who could be the Jaidi Family's rivals might be the fish in the harbor.

The two brothers had already set sail and fled. If the Jaidi Family couldn't find an outlet for their frustration, they would surely keep an eye on him. Although Jama 66's reputation was great, the hiring fee was equally astonishing.

Headache...

"I'm back,"

Exhausted, Whisk returned to his home without realizing the hesitant expression of the maid.

"Mr. Whisk,"

Approaching, Jama 66 personnel "8674," who resembled a governor, stepped forward and blocked Whisk's path.

"There is a powerful visitor at your home."

?

"Oh, Mr. Whisk."

In the living room, a golden-haired boy sitting on the sofa smiled and raised the coffee cup in his hand towards the door.

"I apologize for this unexpected visit and hope you will forgive me."

? !

"You are courting death!!"

Hastily closing the door, Whisk rushed forward, sat opposite Rosinante, and nearly lost his composure, his once refined and composed demeanor barely maintained.

"The Jaidi Family is going crazy, searching the whole city for you and anyone associated with you!"

Facing the culprit that almost got him killed, Whisk managed to remain calm, partly thanks to Vergo, who was playing with his seaman's knife next to him.

"If it weren't for Mr. 8674 here, I would have been turned into sashimi in the Jaidi Family's dungeon!"

The imposing man in a suit and sunglasses behind him was the reason Whisk had the courage to question Rosinante's intentions.

"I apologize for getting you involved in this matter."

"I initially thought that if Mr. Whisk encountered trouble with the Jaidi Family, we would find a way to help you out. But it seems I was overly concerned."

Rosinante spoke with a smile, causing Whisk to hesitate.

He had dealt with pirates who valued "face" above all else and also reckless hotheads. But someone like Rosinante, young yet so "sophisticated and worldly-wise," was something he hadn't encountered before.

However, there was an old saying in the Flower Country, "When one lowers their status to others, they must have a request!"

"Let's get to the point, Mr. Rosinante Nandi."

After regaining his composure, Whisk pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses, treating Rosinante as a cunning and formidable opponent.

"You came here to confirm my safety, right?"

"To be honest, I did come to confirm your safety."

Setting down his coffee cup, Rosinante earnestly looked into the eyes of the successful businessman.

"But even if I say that, you won't believe it. So let's change the topic—"

"Let's join forces and take down the Jaidi Family. After it's done, we split the Jaidi Family's wealth seventy-thirty!"

Of course, seventy percent would go to Rosinante and the Four-Person Alliance, while thirty percent was the price to entice Whisk.

The Jaidi Family's thirty percent of wealth...

Even for a "successful businessman" like Whisk, the offer was too tempting to resist. It was a staggering amount, far more than his entire fortune!

"I'm sorry, Mr. Rosinante Nandi."

However, in the end, Whisk shook his head.

What good was having money if he couldn't enjoy it?

"Before you rush to refuse,"

Rosinante didn't expect Whisk to agree right away when he made the proposal. He pointed to himself.

"You should have some understanding of my and my brother's abilities, Mr. Whisk."

When saying this, Rosinante's gaze fell on Vergo, the man in a suit and sunglasses behind Whisk, who bore a strong presence.

"Hmm, both of you are quite capable."

Whisk admitted, acknowledging Rosinante and Doflamingo's abilities, which had gained recognition from the B-level personnel of the Jama 66 Security Company.

But they were only "capable" and hadn't reached a level where they could disregard numbers.

"The person next to me, I believe you know him too, Mr. Whisk."

Saying that, Rosinante pointed to Vergo, who had been standing stoically next to him, playing with his knife.

"Yes, Vergo of the Four-Color Family. I heard you had some conflict with them?"

Due to a lack of information, Whisk understood that Rosinante and his brother had clashed with the Four-Color Family before getting into trouble with the Jaidi Family. They were truly "men who dared to cross the river while facing dragons."

"It's a long story,"

In the beginning, Rosinante had planned to develop his maritime business centered around Spadea Meruzzo while training to improve his strength. But unexpectedly, he had encountered the Four-Color Family due to a small act of chivalry. Then, by accident, he had antagonized the Jaidi Family while completing a devil fruit task, and later joined forces with Vergo to rescue someone from the Family's manor.

Now, they were preparing to overthrow the Jaidi Family, which had ruled Spadea Meruzzo for more than a decade...

Life was unpredictable, and things changed rapidly.

"Let me get straight to the point. We did have some misunderstandings with the Four-Color Family before, but now we have a common enemy."

"Mr. Whisk, from what I know about the Jaidi Family, they are your enemies too."

Before coming, Rosinante had learned from Vergo that Whisk had no ties with the Jaidi Family. Given the Family's overbearing nature, they would never let go of anyone with any connection to Rosinante.

So initially, Rosinante planned to approach Whisk's wife. But it turned out that Whisk hadn't been taken care of by the Jaidi Family, which was even better.

Together, they could overthrow the Jaidi Family and be done with them forever!

Do you know who got me targeted by "Big Bills" Thompson?!

Facing Rosinante's proposal, although Whisk wanted to retort, he ultimately resisted the urge. His mind raced as he weighed the gains and losses.

As Rosinante had said, Whisk was now on the Jaidi Family's blacklist. The day he couldn't afford to hire the services of the Jama 66 Security Company would be the day of his demise!

If he pretended to agree, keep the two in front of him calm, and then inform the Jaidi Family...

"If Mr. Whisk wants to pretend to cooperate and then inform the Jaidi Family to get rid of us—"

The words from across the table startled Whisk, making him almost think that Rosinante had some kind of mind-reading ability!

"—it's only natural,"

Rosinante shrugged, smiling faintly.

"Haha... How could... Mr. Rosinante Nandi... be serious?" Whisk wiped away the cold sweat running down his face, trying to conceal his embarrassment while taking off his gold-rimmed glasses.

"It's normal to have such thoughts, but based on what I know about the Jaidi Family, even if Mr. Whisk helps them, all he'll get is a ruthless backstabbing, right?"

It wasn't Rosinante's attempt to sow discord, but rather information he had learned from Vergo and the others. The Jaidi Family had done a lot of betraying of allies in the past! Otherwise, how could they have become the number one family in Spadea Meruzzo? Did they achieve that by being friendly with everyone and sharing the spoils?

No, it was built on a blood-soaked monument made from the bodies of numerous rival families and former allies.

"Besides, if something happens to the two of us,"

Rosinante leaned slightly forward, lowering his voice, and the words fell on Whisk's ears like thunder.

"I believe my brother and the other executives of the Four-Color Family would be enraged. You wouldn't want your wife to face any unfortunate incidents, right, Mr. Whisk?"

Facing the visibly shaken businessman, Rosinante leaned back on the sofa and sighed.

"Sorry, I don't want this either."

Whether through coercion or temptation, to deal with the Jaidi Family, they needed a local source of intelligence, and Whisk fit the criteria perfectly.

"After we take down the Jaidi Family, I believe there will be plenty of time to repair our relationship."

"Alright,"

Finally, Whisk put his glasses back on and extended his right hand.

"I'll wager my future with you, hoping not to lose everything."

"Don't worry,"

Rosinante stood up and shook Whisk's hand.

"You only need to gamble on your future, while what we're gambling on is—"

Our lives!
