Capítulo 36: Grandma Mai
Bang Bang Bang, I was training with Brute once again, it had been three days since we got here I logged out after I had settled in and slept the entire time.
After waking up at about 12 in the morning I made food and ate while watching the TV almost all the shows were about the game, the progress of the players and how they interacted with the world.
After watching the TV for about two hours I did some exercise and then cleaned up the place I also bought some new chairs and did a little renovations in house, I spent my time reminiscing of the times I used to run around in this walls with my dad got on my heels, this was our family home and now there was no family in it my mum and dad were dead and now only my sister's consciousness was still alive her physical body was dead and the only reason she was still alive is that her consciousness had been transferred to ARCAN£ there was nothing left fore in this world again.
Tears filled my eyes as I remembered everything that had happened to us after our parents death, I did everything I could to fend for my sister, her situation wasn't always so bad at first she was just ill and although we were told it was a complicated issue and that she had to get treatment fast, not caring about anything else I had used a huge chunk of the money that was bequeathed to us by our parents and the government to pay for my sister's surgerNobody wanted to take us in as foster children because they feared my sister illness and how much it could cost them nevertheless I never lost hope, I have the doctor all the money he asked for believing that my sister would get better but I was wrong stupid and naive, the Doctor shamelessly stole the money and threatened to kill my sister if I said anything about it.
Scared and helpless I agreed to his demand but I didn't dare to leave sister in such a hospital so I paid yet another huge sum in order to move her to lifeline the biggest, safest and most reputable hospital in this part of the world, my sister was admitted and the time for the surgery came but their bills were far more expensive than what I had left of the money my parents left for me and my sister, that was when life became gloom.
My sister's condition slowly became worse until she was completely bedridden, I did all I could even working three jobs at the same time but no matter what I made everything was taken from me, drunks stole my money,thugs bullied him of his money and sometimes even his bosses refused to pay him what was his.
And now my sister was dead what did humanity have to offer me why shouldn't I just do the same surgery and have my consciousness transferred into the game, it's ironic how humans lack humanity, the beasts who followed me in the game had shown more commitment and care about their pack than most humans I have met.
Although we had gotten help a few times the misfortune I faced was enough to completely overshadow it, bit I was glad I didn't forget there was someone who helped us in our lowest moments, the old woman next door although her financial situation wasn't so great she always brought food for me and visited my sister in the hospital.
She also had a rather tragic story her only son had abandoned her because she opposed his marriage saying the woman wasn't good enough for him and was only after money but despite that she still managed to look at the world positively everyday and tried to help as much as she could, my sister was the only person me still keeping me calm and human she was my lifeline because lately my bestial instincts had become so loud and profound I was starting to wonder if playing as a beast had it side effects.
I will save you sister no matter what it takes.
I walked out of my house and went to meet the old woman who had been helping me and fortunately she was around.
Grandma Mai Good day to you I said with a smile.
Ahhh Michael my boy you just left me didn't you, you young people truly spend to much time on that game she said with a smile on her face come to think of it I have never seen her without aGrandma Mai I have a feeling something really good will happen to you today, you are a great person who helps everyone maybe today you will reap all the karma you have sown I said knowing what I had planned for her it was also one of the reasons I had to log off today.
Hahaha good one my boy, you see I never helped people so I would be helped I just did because it's the right thing when you help people they are reminded of the importance of love and until the Power to Love overcomes the Love of Power this world will not know peace.
Well then boy I must be on my way got community service to do I hope I get to see you again although I doubt it and least I forget how is your sister I heard from a doctor that you were able to carry on with the surgery, she asked as she looked at me with eyes that held nothing but love.
She's great I said not wanting to disturb her with the details although she will be unavailable pretty much all the time until she recovers fully she's concious now, we talk and laugh but don't you worry Grandma Mai I will certainly bring her to come see you when she is able to and say a big thank you for taking care of her brother while she was in unable to.
Hahahah I big thank you to my boy, it's good to hear great news like this one in a while it keeps you healthy you know if I tell you a secret you won't believe it she said suddenly acting all mysterious and sly.
Come boy let me tell you she said and I moved closer to her she whispered something in my ears and all I could do was scream

Hush my boy remember the secret is to always be happy and showing love is pretty important to, oh my I must leave I am already late.
With that she hopped on the railing of the stairs and slid all the way down while whooping making it harder for me to believe what she just told me, what a great woman.
But unknown to Michael there were others who were looking for Grandma Mai to help her for the help they had received before, the Law of Karma really is Eternal smile.
