Capítulo 14: Blind date, ahem!

After successfully crafting my treant form, Yasaka and I decided to celebrate the occasion with a little feast.

You know, a get-together where we chow down on some delectable treats and shoot the breeze.

And let me tell you, it's quite the experience.

As we munch on some grilled meat – I've got to say, they're not half bad – we start sharing a little about ourselves.

Yasaka, the Mystic Nine-tailed Fox, opens up about her adventures and life experiences.

And here's the thing that caught my attention – she's got this calm, mature vibe about her.

It's like she's seen it all and learned to take things in stride.

'Pft, hahaha! Nonsense, she's exactly the opposite of that!'

"And there was a time when I need to fight with Duskgold Dreadclaw Bear but I succeed in tricking him that there's some delicious honey.

Then, I smacked his head with some spiritual attack!

Umu, you should look at his face, hehehe." basically Yasaka in her storytelling mood.

"Are you sure that's the infamous bear?

I don't believe you're capable of taking on one and why do you engage in that fight anyway?"

"Em, I, maybe, might have, accidently eaten his jar of honey.

But it's not my fault that the honey was in a jar practically screaming, 'Hey, I'm delicious honey that can boost your cultivation. Go ahead and eat me,' right?"

'This girl is seriously mischievous!

Now, what about me, the World Tree turned treant?

Well, I've been around for quite a while, soaking in the world around me.

Maybe it's because of all those years as a tree – you know, cultivating, absorbing nutrients, and just enjoying the sun.

It's like time has a different pace when you're rooted to the earth.

So, I'm quite a laid-back and chill person but maybe the human's memory make me realize the beauty of a woman more than before.

'Well, what if I could bring together all the male spirit beasts that have taken human form and have them father children with female humans?

Wouldn't that mean we're essentially establishing our dominance, but in a subtle manner?

We could influence the children's minds and create our own human clan.

However, the issue of requiring a spirit ring will still loom like a threat for all spirit beasts.

Sigh, I'll forget abut it then...BUT WAIT!

Oho, maybe that'll work, I'll test 'that' after stealing all those immortal herbs!'

.

.

.

Yasaka seems to have a knack for getting easily annoyed with me.

I can't quite put my metaphorical branches on why, but there's this playful tension in the air.

'Perhaps she's drawn to me, no, she's probably just thankful.

Remember, Verdalor, don't get too attached to women too quickly!'

It's like she's a mix of different personalities – a himedere, a tsundere, and a kuudere.

It's like a fox-shaped puzzle that keeps me on my toes.

But, you know what?

Despite the occasional playful banter, we're having a blast.

It's like we've become closer, two unlikely companions bonding over food and stories.

And maybe, just maybe, my human's memories are playing a part.

It's like my past experiences are seeping into my interactions, making them richer and more intriguing.

I can't help but wonder – as a tree, my days were pretty straightforward: cultivate, absorb, and repeat.

But now, with this treant form and this newly attained memories, it's like I've unlocked a new level of existence.

And you know what?

I'll just savor every moment of it.

So, after that feast where Yasaka and I bonded over food and stories, something started to tickle my curiosity.

You know how it is when you just have to ask someone about something that's been bouncing around your mind?

Well, that's what happened with me.

As we relaxed, bellies full and spirits high, I turned to Yasaka and popped the question.

I wanted to know about her dreams – you know, her goals, her aspirations.

And Yasaka, with that foxy charm of hers, was more than willing to share.

Turns out, this proud spirit beast has some not so low ambition.

Her short-term goal?

Reaching the impressive milestone of a 100,000-year-old cultivation.

Yep, you heard me right.

She's aiming for the big leagues, for a level of power that's nothing short of extraordinary.

"I believe you can do it, it's quite easy for us strong bloodline spirit beast." I said confidently.

"Hehe, thanks for the encouragement!" Yasaka beamed a smile."

"Your spiritual level is adequate enough, but I think you should train your physique a little bit more to withstand the tribulation lightning.

But don't stop cultivate it either as that's your strength!"

"Aye aye sir!" Yasaka make a salutation with one of her tail.

Then, I decided to dig a little deeper and asked her about her plans after achieving that cultivation level.

It's like peeking into someone's secret treasure chest of dreams.

And Yasaka, well, at least she had a clear stance – she's never going to transform into a human.

As she explained her detestation towards the idea, I could sense the determination in her words.

She's a spirit beast through and through, and the thought of forsaking her nature is just a big no-no for her.

And you know what?

I couldn't agree more.

As a fellow compatriot who's not exactly jumping at the chance to become human, I found myself admiring Yasaka's conviction.

It's like we're kindred spirits, rooted in our true forms, proud of our essence.

It's the kind of connection that makes you realize you've stumbled upon someone worth befriending.

Yasaka's spirit shines as brightly as her soft golden fur, and I'm here, standing tall as a treant.

As Yasaka and I chatted about her aspirations, something ticked at the back of my mind – her brother.

It's like a puzzle piece sliding into place, connecting dots I didn't even know existed.

So, with a hint of curiosity, I casually asked.

"And what about your brother?"

And let me tell you, her response was like a river of insight pouring forth.

Turns out, her pride as a fierce nine-tailed fox has its roots in her brother, Kurama.

She was certain that he's not planning on transforming into a human anytime soon.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, huh?

As Yasaka spoke about Kurama, I could sense the depth of their bond.

It's like a thread woven through time, connecting them as siblings who share a common spirit.

And here's the kicker – her brother is no ordinary spirit beast.

I couldn't resist asking, "Is he strong?"

And boy, did she confirm it.

He's a front-line fighter, using spirit energy to pump up his body for some intense action.

But that's not all – he's got a trick up his furry sleeve.

He can unleash an energy beam or blast, just to keep things spicy.

"It's so powerful!

Sometimes I'm jealous I can't spew some energy beam like him but I know for sure that I like playing with someone's mind more than that, hehehe."

'Oi oi, begone sadistic fox!'

But still, I couldn't help but admire their sibling dynamic.

It's like a dance of strength and loyalty, a melody of bonds that's composed of shared experiences and unspoken understanding.

Yasaka cares for her brother in a way that's both fierce and tender.

Kurama's a force to be reckoned with.

And Yasaka?

She's there, standing beside him, a supportive sister who's willing to lend a hand when the going gets tough.

It's heartwarming, really – to see such strong family ties in this vibrant world.

And I found myself smiling, knowing that Yasaka's determination isn't just for herself.

It's for her brother, for their bond, and for a future that's as bright as her fiery spirit.

"That's why I wanted to find something to help him in his tribulation!

I-I don't want to lose my only brother." Yasaka said sadly.

'I'm willing to assist, but I'll only provide a herb that suits his needs, and it won't be at the level of an immortal herb.

I'll find her after the heist and we'll see what happened.'

After a little bit more chatting with Yasaka, we bode our farewell.

I wish all the best to her in finding some treasures for her brother.

As of now, I need to scout and make a plan for the heist.

Sunset Forest is in Heaven Dou City, I need to sneaked into the city without anyone knowing.

I can find out the exact location of the forest and the city if I asked the trees.

'Alright, this is the moment of truth.

Due to Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, the time required for cultivation of rare plants would be reduced tenfold.

I'm hoping for greater reduction as I won't just take the immortal herbs and the well.

But also the secret behind the reason on how there's a bizarre polarization of elements in middle of nowhere!'
