"There is something on your face." He lifted his finger to her face, wiping the side of her lips with the tip of his thumb.

He meant to do more than remove the creamy sauce that adhered and blemished her porcelain skin. He knew he wanted more.

His entire body craved for him to touch her, envelop her in his arms, and claim those luscious lips that had been begging for his kiss. But again, the timing was not right.

"Oh!" The disappointment in her breathy voice was quite evident as reality failed to meet her expectations. 

But like before, she refused to admit it as she pretended not to be affected by his action or lack of it. Nevertheless, it was clear that she also felt the same way as him.

"Now, we can go." He said as he removed his fingers from her face and transferred them to her hand, entwining them together. Thankfully, she did not try to snatch her hand away.
