While wagging his tail, Mateo then stood up. He didn't like displaying his abilities as if performing tricks; he wasn't some street entertainer. But he disliked being considered a useless man even more!

Mateo's body was surrounded by a blue light, and when the light faded, Mateo had disappeared.

Simultaneously, chaos erupted among the spirit beasts.

"Ah!"

"What's going on?!"

"Who dares to harm me!"

The spirit beasts in the middle row all felt something passing over them as if it was burning and causing a corrosive pain.

"Hmph, I thought there were only strong beings present, yet even a mere Level 9 newcomer couldn't withstand it?" sarcastic words echoed behind the spirit beasts.

Mateo stood atop a small hill, his form resembling a silhouette made of dark blue flames, and barely showing any aura of a powerful being.
