Capítulo 5: Chapter Five

After giving the Shinx Pokeball to Nurse Joy, I decided to walk around the city.

I looked down at my clothes and frowned. I needed a wardrobe change, like, right now.

Looking around, I didn't spot a clothes shop, so instead of asking for directions, I took out my phone and searched for nearby clothes shops for trainers.

These people were civilians, and even if they were retired trainers, I wouldn't know.

Walking to the nearest store, which was two blocks away, I entered the said building that was un-originally called "Trainers Journey".

Looking around, I noticed the things I needed. A black tank top that hugged my body, and a sleeveless black jacket. For my pants... Well, I chose blue, I didn't really care what kind it was as long as I could have a belt on it, and it allowed me to have a full range of motion.

I chose some waterproof shoes, those were a godsend when I first started.

I looked at my arms that were currently covered, but I knew what hid below the cloth. Scars, some from accidents, some from gunfights, some from the enemies Pokemon I had to fend off before one of my team members reached me.

It wasn't pretty to look at, obviously, but it would get warmer soon and I couldn't rely on this long coat to keep me cool in the summer.

Instead, I grabbed arm warmers that would cover my biceps to my wrists. And finally, I grabbed a pair of fingerless gloves.

While I was walking to the changing room to try on my clothes, I spotted a high-quality backpack with weight reduction and size reduction functions that worked on the same principle as poke balls and grabbed that too.

Finding that everything fitted perfectly, I changed back into my usual outfit and walked out with the clothes in my hand.

Heading to the cashier, I noticed her looking me up and down for a moment and resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

"Could you give me two more of the same pants and T-Shirsts, the arm warmers too, and another pair of shoes?"

She nodded and walked off to prepare what I wanted as I waited, looking at nothing in particular. My mind wandered back to Cynthia, how we were back then. I was the usual, older kid in a child body while she was excitable, so easily excitable in fact that I once proposed a game of who could be silent for longer, she managed to beat me and rubbed it in my face for the rest of the day.

I smirked, remembering her edgy phase, she was so glad that she was so naturally pale at that time.

My mind went back into focus when I heard the footsteps of the chancier and see her walking up to the desk with bags in her hands.

She scanned everything and I paid for it with my card.

"Can I change here?"

I asked while I was putting the card back in my wallet. She nodded and I appreciated that the conversation was kept to the minimum.

Grabbing the bags she brought, I put them in my new backpack and watched as they got smaller inside. Closing it, I swing it on my back and picked up the clothes I placed on the table to go into the changing rooms. sliding the curtain to the side, I dropped the backpack down to the floor and placed the clothes on the small desk, which was nothing but a wooden plank between the two walls, and started taking off my clothes.

The coat came off and I folded it, only to drop it on the plank.

Reaching for my holster straps, I unclipped the gun holsters and placed the straps on the coat. Taking off my long-sleeved shirt, I put on the Tank top, covering up the huge hole-shaped scar I had on the side of my abdomen.

Putting on the arm warmers, I grabbed my holsters and slid my arms into the correct holes, clipping the two side-release buckles together to hold them on tightly.

Changing my pants and my shoes, I grabbed my black jacket and put it on, making sure that my guns weren't visible. Should probably get new belt holsters since I wasn't wearing a coat anymore.

Putting on my fingerless gloves to cover the thin, horizontal scar that was right between the metacarpals of my middle and pointer fingers.

Placing my old clothes inside my new backpack, I slung it over my shoulder and left the changing room.

I also needed a tent... Did I need a tent? No, Sceptile could take care of the shelter. Food? They can hunt for their food and as for me, I can make food on my own, so I was basically good to go.

Walking to the door, the cashier did a doubletake at me, which I conveniently ignored, and walked out, heading back to the Pokemon center.

Taking out my phone, I started to browse through the internet, searching for my other "Rival" I met in Kanto...

And apparently, Bruno was an elite-four member.

Mother fucker, did anybody I knew not get a high position in the world?

Groaning inwardly, I thinned my lips.

In three years, I will beat all of the elite four of every region that has it and then their champions.

Because I am the fucking best that there ever was and ever will be.

But first, the vacation, I will start when I throat chop every gym leader in Sinnoh and then the elite four.

Finally reaching the Pokemon center, I sat down in one of the available chairs and waited storing my world domination plans in my head for later use.
