Capítulo 1: Return of Xu Jin Lin
At the domestic airport of B city, the hall was crowded, and people were bustling. But the sudden loud noise startled the crowd, and people started to run like headless chickens. Screams, shouts and gunshots. Amidst everyone's panic, the girl with black boots and a high ponytail walked against the human waves to reach the source of the loud gunshots. Slightly crunching down behind the table, she carefully looked around and checked the environment. Two men with guns in their hands were threatening the people around them, the airport security guard was on the floor, and blood was oozing out of his abdomen but considering the slight movement of his chest, you can know he was still alive. Two offenders did not move other necessary things; it looks like they are waiting for their accomplices.
"Rat, hurry up; what's taking you so long?" One of the gunmen said impatiently to the skinny man who was hurrying over to them. As the criminals were wearing black face masks, it was unable to see their whole face.
"It's done, so let's go. If we don't hurry up, the police will be here soon," the skinny man, Rat, said to the other two.
The girl with the ponytail analyzed the situation and finally decided to move when she saw the window from the side slowly open from the outside. Police officers came into the hall to catch the criminals. She did not even spare one second to hesitate when she saw one of the gunmen trying to shoot the hostages. She throws out the black dagger and runs like the wind to them; after a fierce battle, she successfully subdues two men with the gun. All of the hostages scattered away. The skinny man was struggling when the police stopped him. The other police officers entered the site and saw the girl pulling out the dagger; the police immediately alerted her and pointed their guns at her. She silently took out her wallet and showed her ID card to the nearest police. After a few seconds, the police give a respectful military salute to the girl.
"Major", the surrounding police also looked at her carefully.
"No need for formalities" She waved her hand and walked behind the table to grab her rucksack.
"Major Xu", she heard her name and looked up to see handsome middle-aged police with a gentle smile on his face.
"Officer Han" she was slightly surprised when she saw a familiar face and shooked hands with him. The surrounding police officers were finally convinced when they saw their superior smiling at the girl like he was seeing the great Buddha. It was not that unbelieving, but her appearance was unconvincing. She looked like a supermodel except for her cold aura; her long legs and delicate face could only be matched with the highest-grade runway show. But when they heard her address, everyone was astonished. Major is more than just a rank that anyone can get quickly. Usually, you can obtain it with 10 to 15 years of experience and lots of meritorious deeds, but the girl in front of them looked no older than a university student. They hid the gossip in their eyes and slowly moved to do their own things.
"Haha, never knew we could meet in this situation; thanks for your cooperation, Major Xu" Officer Han's smile became more extensive.
"I was just passing by, and no need to call me like that. I'm not on duty," she said and checked her phone; the phone was ringing in silent mode nonstop. Her eldest brother was supposed to pick her up from the airport. He almost died of worrying when he knew there were some terrorists in the airport, he wanted to go inside to check, but the surrounding police did not let him in. He was an extraordinarily handsome and successful businessman; he would be cold and emotionless when signing a billion-dollar contract. But at this moment, he was almost on the verge of crying. Finally, his call went through, and a soft female voice sounded from the other end of the ring.
"Big brother"
"Lin'er, where are you? I'm at the airport's front door; I'm coming to get you; tell me where you are" he was anxious and babbled.
"Don't worry, brother, go to the parking site; I'll be there in a minute" The young CEO's mind finally eased down when he heard his sister's steady calm voice. He went to the parking hurriedly to meet his dear little sister. The treasure of their family finally decided to come home, and everyone was excited.
"then, let me treat you to dinner; let me know when you have time, Xiao Lin", Officer Han said to the girl with the ponytail; he already changed her address when they came to the quiet place away from the other's eyes.
"Sure, Uncle Han, I'll call you when I'm hungry" You could tell they were old acquaintances from their brief exchange, and she eased her eyebrows.
The girl slowly walked to the door with her military backpack, her footstep was steady, and her back was straight. Officer Han also went to the site to check other things with his underlings.
"Big brother" When Xu Jin Lin saw her big brother, her concealed emotion almost overflowed. It had been such a long time, and she missed her family dearly.
"Liner", her big brother, looked at her and hugged her tightly. It had been such a long time, and he missed his little sister dearly.
