Sylvia sat in a corner, waiting for Alora to leave the student lounge. Just then, Alora dashed out of the lounge running down the hallway like a maniac.
"Alora, what's wrong?" Sylvia screamed, attracting a lot of attention.
"Nothing."
She ran out to the lobby and began descending the staircases. The senior lounge was on the third floor of the school building. When she reached the ground floor, she followed the exit instead of the entrance door. She was exhausted after running down those steps.
Lo and behold, Austin was sitting on a swing, pushing his legs and looking as harmless as never. His car was parked on the other side of the wire mesh fence. She had so many questions; How did he get in? What was he thinking? When and how did that swing get there?
"Alora, I wasn't expecting you." He smiled while swinging his feet lazily.
"Save you innocence, Austin." Alora marched up to him, wanting nothing more than to strangle him. "Never frighten me like that again."
"Okay, okay." He nodded.
"How did you know?" She lowered her voice and made sure that no one was watching begore sitting on the fluffy green grass.
"I have my ways. You look stressed, why don't we go for a little ride?" He looked at his car then, back at Alora.
"Austin, I am a student. All this will affect my GPA. How am I going to get a good scholarship?"
"You have me, Alora. What more could you want?" He had stopped swinging his legs. 'She is frustrating me.'
"Am I not stopping you from your role.as the head of a leading mafia group? All this hanging around with ne must be holding you back from thise responsibilities. Those are important to you, aren't they?"
"They are not. You are important to me and you know it." He winked st her. "So, what about that joy ride?"
At that moment, a Porsche 911 parked behind Austin's car and Julius came out of it. Austin looked shaken and jumped off the swing.
"Sorry Alora but I have to borrow Austin."
