Alora couldn't get a wink at night. She kept thinking of the the kind young man that walked her home. He had been so nice and her spirit had been disturbed. She decided to get some water and on her way to the kitchen, she found her six years old sister, Allison, drinking milk.
"Ally, how long have you been awake?"
"Long enough to know that you roll over 43 times in two minutes."
Alora went to the kitchen tap to fetch some water. Ally was smarter than kids her age. "Who was that man that escorted you home last night?"
"How do you know?"
"I am not stupid. Tell me." Alora walked to the table, dropped her cup of water and stared at her sister. What was she supposed to tell her? 'I met a kind man who walked me home.'
"He is a friend." She mused under her breath.
"I see. Why haven't you introduced us to this friend?"
"God, Allison." Lora said, drowning down her cup of water and Allison snickered. "You mustn't know everything."
"Fine, fine." Ally stood up and gazed outside the window.
"Aren't you going back to sleep?"
"No, I have insomnia. It isn't easy sleeping." "Sure. How can I help?"
"Just go to sleep and I will help myself."
Alora stood up, kissed her sister's cheek and went back to bed. Tomorrow was Saturday and she was staying at the cafe from seven in the morning till nine at night. She had to save as much energy as possible.
