Chapter 47. Law's will
Doflamingos saw how this rookie, Flame Emperor Ace, looked at him without a hint of fear... Which wasn't good for his ego.
Doflamingos was one of the most powerful pirates in the world, and he had built an underground Empire. He was feared both in the light and in the shadows as he was protected by the world government because of his title as a Warlord. Then ontop of that, he had secret deals with Kaido and was backed by him through his underground network.
Not many people dared to come to his island, cause havoc and create problems, then look him straight in the eyes like this, much less a rookie pirate.
Doflamingo had a sadistic side to him, and right now, when his rage had reached a peak, he could only imagine what he would do to this punk.
Just as Dolfmaingo's rage reached its peak, his eyes suddenly widened.
Ace's confident grin and his whole bodily aura that shouted for battle... Why was it so familiar? Why did it remind him of that man...
Doflamingos started frowning as he lost his evil grin for the first time.
"Impossible... It can't be." Doflamingo felt like the thought that crossed his mind, was to crazy to be true...
For a second he felt like Flame Emperor was the demon descent of the Pirate King, but it's impossible...
Ace's fearless grin, battle aura, crazy methods, bravery in the border of craziness... It all seemed all to familiar.
"Are ya just going to stand there like a coward?" Ace finally got tired of waiting.
Doflamingos raised his fingers towards Ace, his evil grin still gone.
A dozen thin threads suddenly pierced Ace's head in a burst of speed.
Doflamingos then turned around and was about to hurry toward the castle again, thinking this was enough to take care of a rookie pirate.
"Wow, don't tell me you're already done, it's way to fast, I didn't get to enjoy that? Don't tell me this is your first time fighting?" Ace asked.
Ace then saw Doflamingos halt in his tracks with his back turned towards Ace.
Doflamingos turned his head over his shoulder as his gaze barely reached Ace, yet the coldness and anger it conveyed... Doflamingo didn't need any words to explain how he felt right now.
It was obvious that Doflamingo was enraged.
Ace picked up a rubble and threw at Doflamingo's back, it wasn't hard, just a poke.
"Come on, show me what you really got." Ace said teasingly.
"Right, I seemingly forgot that you're a fire logia... Of course...." Doflamingo then, in a split second, started running towards Ace.
In a flash, he arrived above Ace and kicked down, with all his might.
Ace raised his arm to intercept the kick and just as the two were about to connect, both infused their leg and arm with Haki.
Doflamingo's leg connected with Ace's arm in full power with both their haki's in full gear.
But to Doflamingo's surprise, he didn't feel Ace's arm twist off, as he had expected, instead he felt how powerful Ace's armament Haki truly is and that's when he understood that Ace wasn't just some pirate...
Ace was blown back a dozen steps because of the force from the kick. Doflamingo skidded back as well.
"Oh not bad... But If this is all you've got... It's a bit disappointing" Ace commented as he looked at his black arm.
Doflamingo flashed towards him again with his fists completely black.
They started battling eachother using Haki.
Ace wanted to use his flame logia but he restrained himself as this island was full of civilians and innocents, while his devil fruit was one of pure destruction.
It would be hard to not have casualties if they started using their abilities.
Each punch and kick seemed to create a sonic boom and a shockwave that destroyed the windows of buildings nearby.
A toy that was on top of a building a hundred meters away, was staring in awe. Soon, others started spectating the fight from a distance as well.
As the fight went on, many toys started feeling hope... That their nightmare might end soon.
On top of the castle tower, Law and Trebol skidded back from their last collision.
"ROOM" Law spoke as he raised one of his hands, and then an invisible, spherical domain grew from his hand like a bubble that enveloped the whole castle and garden.
Then, like a surgical doctor, Law started moving and removing whatever he wanted in his domain.
Trebol just felt something dissapear inside his chest, next thing he sees is a beating heart inside of Laws hand, he instantly understood what had happened as he lost the colour of his face.
Law had fought with Trebol for a good while now, and he looked haggard, Trebol was no pushovers, although Law was beating him, he still had to go all out.
He waited for the perfect moment to utilize his devil fruit so that he could get the information he needed.
Law put his sword towards the beating heart while looking towards Trebol.
"Where is she..." Law asked, remember the mission they had received, to knock out the Donquixote pirate that turned people into toys.
"W-who?" Trebol played oblivious to the question.
Law put his swords closer to the heart, drawing slightly blood.
Trebol held his chest as he felt pain, and now because of it, he also felt terror.
He had been very surprised when saw that Law, the kid he watched grow up, had come back this much stronger.
Trebol looked even more haggard as he had slashes and scratches everywhere, bleeding like a fool.
"D-d-don't cut my heart!!! She's inside the castle!" Trebol gave up Sugars location.
Sugar was the pirate that had eaten hobi-hobi no mi, which gave her the ability to turn anyone she touched into toys, while also erasing the memory of them from existence.
Law used his observation Haki and felt the presence of a hidden person inside the castle.
He wasn't sure if this was sugar or not, but he didn't have time to find out.
While glaring at Trebol, Law suddenly released his conquerors haki in full blast towards the castle, enforcing his will upon anyone that stood in his way.
Trebol, Pica, Gladius, Senior Pink, Violet and all other Donquixote Pirates halted in their tracks as they stared wide eyed at Law.
Many of the Donquixote goons fell unconscious, while the stronger ones held on.
"So he has it as well...." Violet whispered in surprise.
Conquerors haki was very rare, even in grandline. The people known to have it can be counted in one hand, and all of them are at the peak of this world.
"NEH NEH NEEEH, ISN'T THIS WAY TO RIDICULOUS?" Trebol shouted in surprise.
Law felt the presence inside the castle pass out, he turned to Ronaldino Ronaldo giving him just a gaze.
Ronaldino Ronaldo nodded, understanding what he meant.
Law wanted him to go inside and see if it was sugar.
"Don't let her touch you." Law simply said as Ronaldino passed him.
"Don't worry mate." Ronaldino said as he raised his gun. Baby 5 followed him.
JoJo looked up towards the castle walls as his fight with pica came to a halt.
"Seems like he went all out CHAHAHAHA" JoJo Pojo laughed as he swung his hammer at pica again.
The bastard hid behind stones so it was hard to hit him... without destroying the whole tower....
Above them, many birds were flying over Dressrosa as they observed what what happening. They had gotten information of a commotion and hurried here for some juicy news.
