Capítulo 61: Like I give a damn

As the iconic ratatat of the M60 echoed in Hellsgate, round after round of 7.62×51mm NATO impacted the shadow I was tracking. Unfortunately, the unease I felt didn't disappear. {Mage} had {Perceive}, {Aim}, {Snipe} and the components for {Sight}, {Expose} and {Counter} yet I saw little.

In terms of being to analyze an opponent and hurt them this configuration was the best. And yet my eyes could not find Zach amidst the smoke except for a vague outline.

I crammed all the Kinetic energy I tanked from his strikes into the bullets of the M60. I currently had ball rounds in but with {Counter} they might as well be armor-piercing rounds.

Ammunition was generally separated into categories. What changed was not how the bullet flew but what it was made of and its purpose. Everything from pistols to sniper rifles followed these bullet types which defined their roles.
