It wasn't easy.

Rushing out of the room, running down the stairs, squeezing into the kitchen, and begging Eleen for a slice of cake as fast as he could all while trying to avoid the shower of questions directed at him wasn't an easy task. More than being difficult, it was awkward and bizarre.

Why did he do that?

Since he was the one who offered something and the other person, for some unknown reasons, in complete contrast to what was expected of him, agreed with Alaric's offer, he had no choice but to proceed with what he suggested.

'I want some cake.'

What a really strange situation.

"I haven't tested it myself yet, but it must be delicious... The smell is enough to understand that..."

The bluehead was unresponsive. He was still curled up beside his bed, hugging his knees, bending his back, soundlessly shedding tears as he stuffed into his mouth huge bites of cake.
