“Yeah...what is it?” He answered the phone. I did not know what he was talking about with the person on the line. I only heard what he replied.

"I'll head in this afternoon. If there's an issue, it might be related to the synapse. You might want to consider calling Kev to take a look at it first, Mathilda. He's better than me with equipment, note that in your mind..." He suggested.

“Yeah...aha…thanks.”

The man in front of me hung up the phone and put it in his suit pocket. After that, he clasped his hands together and turned to me. Before he could say anything, the drinks we had ordered were placed on the glass table.

“Tell me about it…” I asked, not knowing at all who the man in front of me was. All I knew now was that he lived in the same high-rise building as me and probably on a higher floor which was even more expensive. Another thing that I knew as I listened to the previous conversation was that...he was a doctor.
