“Why the hell did they include that last line?” Tan asked Blanche when he first saw the card, but his friend just smiled back and shook his head.
His HP was currently down to 40,000 resulting in his attack dealing 10% greater damage. Tan had actually pondered for a long while before including this card in his deck because if the Gambler’s skill switched his HP with MP, this card would be of no use as he would die after taking small damage. However, after thinking about it more, there was a very low chance for that to happen. With that conclusion, he added this card into his deck.
“Nano Blast!” The system announced the dragon’s powerful move again.
“6,687!”
“8,745!”
The Dimension Dragon shot out a big beam at Tan and his Crystal Lizard. The damage caused the Crystal Lizard to disintegrate into spheres of light. Tan’s HP did not significantly decrease since his Regen skill recovered his HP at the same time.
Tan had only a minute and a half left before game-over…
“Darn it…!” Tan shouted when he saw that the dragon was still in good condition—It was a sign that it still had a certain amount of HP remaining. He opened his skills panel to see if the Lifeline skill was ready to be used. He knew well that it would take several hours, yet he still took the time to open it and check…
However, his action was not useless at all. Tan finally noticed the new skill he had got for a while. He quickly read the description and was surprised when he found out what it would take to activate this skill. Tan had no time to think as his time was running out.
“There’s no other way…” Tan muttered before activating the skill.
“Level Breaker!” He shouted. Suddenly…Light flew off his body and landed on his bow, causing the bow to be as if it were made of light. He aimed the bow at the Dimension Dragon that was roaring to terrify its enemy…
“9,895!” “9,893!”
“9,458!” “9,984!”
“9,563!” “9,654!”
The damage dealt made the shooter reel back in alarm!

Player Tanthai has activated Level Breaker. The player’s level has fallen from 37 to 32…
The system informed about the effect of Level Breaker. He was shocked at the amount of damage he dealt. He thought that it was going to be powerful but had not thought that it would be this powerful. Level Breaker skill calculated the stats based on the game formula; he had a MAX HP of ten thousand, which increased the effect of that skill.
The Dimension Dragon that flew above the castle suddenly fell. The sound of glasses falling on the ground echoed as its body crashed into the ground, shaking the entire castle. From its state, it was evident that the dragon's HP was extremely low. Tan pointed his arrow at its head. He was certain he could finish off this boss monster with another set of his attacks.
“Hold on…” Tan lowered his bow and looked around. He continued, “I’ll let you go…” He looked at the surroundings and thought about how Blanche got his Area Card, Black Forest.
Tan waited for a voice—the system’s voice announcing that he had cleared the quest.
“Augh!”
“10,789!”
He cried out as the dragon’s tail smashed his body, sending him flying away. “But Blanche did just like that and earned himself a card!” Disappointedly, he raised his bow, preparing to finish off the Dimension Dragon that was about to fly into the sky.
“Let’s end it,” he said as he pulled the bow’s drawstring back toward his face. He exhaled from his mouth and released the arrow to the boss of the Crystal Castle who was going to be defeated…
“9,452!” “9,899!”
“9,965!” “9,785!”
“9,745!” “9,127!”
After the number indicating damage popped up, the dragon let out one last shriek, resonating throughout the ice mountains. The snow slid down the mountain in the distance. The snowstorm continued to rage without ceasing. The dragon disintegrated into countless spheres of light, dispersing into the snow.
Player Tanthai has successfully defeated level 70, Eizenger, the Dimension Dragon, and has received a 10-star, Dimension Dragon Eizenger card, a Dimension Amulet, and 277,777 EXP. The player has risen to level 39.
“Finaaaaaaally!” Tan shouted as he threw himself on the snow. “I did it!” His voice echoed across the ice mountains. The place was quiet until the system’s voice sounded.
Player Tanthai has successfully cleared the Job Promotion Quest and has been promoted to a Risk Breaker. The player has received a Job Manual and a Job outfit.
“HAHAHAHA” He lay down on the snow and looked up into the sky. Pleased, he smiled. “Can’t believe I survived this. Blanche and Nicki are going to be shocked to death,” he talked about his friends who had no idea that he was sent here to clear his quest. Tan was not surprised by the second announcement because he knew that it was going to be an announcement for clearing a quest. However, there was a third announcement.
Player Tanthai has cleared the quest ‘Persevering Heart’ by accepting the quest when at a level below 30 and clearing the quest without going back.
Player Tanthai has been rewarded with the Crystal Castle Eizenger Area Card, Class X, and the possessory right over Crystal Castle Eizenger. 2% EXP of players who enter the castle will be delivered to the player. This option can be turned on and off at will.
“HAH, HAH…” This time, Tan did not cry out in surprise. He grabbed the snow and threw it away with all his might. “I’m glad I didn’t give up,” he said as a teleporting light suddenly appeared, bringing him back to the NPC that sent him to the Crystal Castle.
The feeling of cold was gone, but he could hear the birds singing. People walked by around and about. The fountain behind him made a soft sound. The wind caused the trees to lean forward…
The elder widened his eyes as he saw Tan. “Did you actually pass the test?” He asked. Tan gave only a smile back. “I can’t believe it…You are now the owner of Crystal Castle.”
Tan frowned… “How did you know? I might die and be sent back,” he said with a smile.
The old man pointed his long-nailed finger at his body. Tan was now in a black and red outfit—a crisscross lace leather jacket and a long black coat with red lining.
“That’s the evidence showing that you have cleared the high-level Job quest,” replied the old man.
Tan looked at himself and nodded approvingly. “And how did you know that I got an Area Card,” asked the young lad.
The elder’s finger then moved to his left shoulder. “The Fairy of Eizenger is the answer. She will join your journey and help you with a lot of things. Take good care of her.”
Tan frowned as he could not understand what the old man said. “Fairy?” Tan repeated.
The old man cracked into a smile, making his long beard and mustache move. “She’s on your shoulder.”
Tan looked at his shoulder and then had to raise his eyebrows. There was a girl about the size of a thumb sitting on his shoulder. She was the same girl he met on the roof of the Crystal Castle.
“You…” Tan wondered.
The tiny girl—which was currently much smaller than before—with light blue eyes slightly smiled. “Eize said before that I’ll remember master’s name,” she said.
Tan briefly looked at her and questioned, “Do you eat a lot? If you eat a lot, I won’t take you with me…”
Eize hastily shook her head. Her long hair fluttered about. “Eize doesn’t have to eat, Master,” she replied with a serious voice. “And if you don’t need Eize, you have to throw away the Eizenger card,” she told Tan.
Hearing that, he raised his eyebrows. “I can’t throw it away, I guess I have to let you go with me…Make yourself useful,” Tan said with a straight face. Eize nodded and did not say anything.
As Tan was about to return to his friends who had been waiting for him, he stopped in his tracks and turned to the NPC. “You are not the one who hands out the level 15 Job quest, right?” Tan asked with a smile.
The NPC pointed at a lady dressed in a suit standing next to the fountain. “Her…The one you’re looking for.”
Tan shook his head. “Thanks, uncle,” he said and walked up to the lady in a suit. He took the level 15 Job quest, had some fun with a dozen of level 15 monsters, and earned himself another card.
Player Tanthai has received a 4-star Gambling Expert card…
“I finally completed the Job quest,” he muttered as he left the plaza.
After Tan had left, the two NPC walked towards each other. “Mr. President, it has already started, right…?” The lady NPC in a suit asked.
The elder NPC nodded slowly. “The five gears have spun around, only two left and Gehana will appear…”
