Capítulo 38: Puzzle pieces

The Arcane Dominion, at its surface, was under the governance of a cadre of Arcane masters, each commanding their own floating city. These masters organized themselves into distinct factions within the Dominion, and within each floating city, numerous magic academies flourished. Hovering high above mortal realms, these floating cities held dominion over the lands below.

Magic schools were branches of magic academies spread out in mortal kingdoms to monitor and recruit promising mages into their midst.

Infiltrating the floating cities proved to be an insurmountable challenge for the Dark Hand. Consequently, they devised a strategy, beginning with the mortal kingdoms. Mages were both revered and feared by various mortal races, as the allure of magic drew many to aspire to become mages. However, only a select few were granted entry into the prestigious magic schools.
