Nestled in the arms of its Beast Tamer, Fire Dog felt safe and, mustering up its courage, turned its head to look in the direction it had just seen.

Looking at this sight, Fire Dog's fur stood on end.
It was gone!
Realizing what Fire Dog was thinking, Riley couldn't help but be speechless.
How could Fire Dog be afraid of its own Shadow Clone?
Perhaps Fire Dog hadn't yet realized that it was its own Shadow Clone move.
Researcher had shown that many Spirit Beasts would learn Moves without their own awareness.
Some learned through the accumulation of time and experience, while others were triggered by external stimuli, causing latent Beast Tamer Codex to manifest suddenly.
Just a few days ago, during a competition in the Luminescia region had sparked a minor civil dispute over compensation. The reason is because the Spirit Beast suddenly learned a move and released it on public.
Mr. W from Foshanlea City had brought his Yggisil to Seat 16 in Row 21 to watch the match.
Perhaps due to the excitement of the game, Yggisil unconsciously learned the Sleeping Powder Move and released it without its notice, and causing over a dozen spectators in Rows 20, 21, and 22 to fall asleep and miss the entire match.

"That's your own Shadow Clone," Riley explained helplessly.
"Bark?"
Fire Dog's gestures suddenly came to a halt, and its dark eyes radiated puzzlement.
"Congratulations, you've learned a new Move," Riley smiled.
Only after Riley explain it, Fire Dog understood.
It paused for a moment, feeling and adjusting the energy within its body.
A Fire Dog that looked exactly like the one nestled in its Beast Tamer's arms suddenly appeared at the feet of its Beast Tamer. Its fur, which had been somewhat disheveled from dodging baseballs, had no discernible differences.
"Bark!"
Fire Dog was excited and immediately jumped out of Riley's arms to inspect its own Shadow Clone closely.
Because it had learned a new Move, Fire Dog forgot about practicing dodging baseballs, and Riley naturally didn't bring it up either.
As they left the baseball training facility and passed by the Spirit Beast Center, Riley couldn't help but feel a bit regretful.
If only he hadn't lost 5,000 League Coins last night, he would have treated Fire Dog to a relaxing visit today.
Back at home, Riley opened his computer and started searching for a popular streamer known for their Spirit Beast massage techniques.
After clicking on a random live stream, Riley called Fire Dog over and began massaging it following the techniques demonstrated by the streamer.
Although they didn't have the money to go to a Spirit Beast Center, they could do it themselves!
"Does it feel good?" Riley asked gently.
"Bark."
Fire Dog reluctantly agreed.
It lay on its side, its head aligned with the live stream.
On the screen, a burly man was massaging a lazy Peaklet, and the Spirit Beast occasionally made contented grunting sounds.
As Fire Dog watched the live stream and felt its Beast Tamer's massaging touch, it couldn't shake the feeling that something was off...
