Capítulo 50: Battle front

Raziel walked through his army, wanting to get to the front. But then he felt someone tug on his arm from behind. He turned only to meet a cloaked man, his face hidden.

"Who are you?" He asked, surprised that an someone who was not a soldier was there. "You are not safe here."

"I can fight." The cloaked man declared. "I want to fight by your side."

"Leave now while you still can." Raziel warned, before turning away from him. But then the cloaked man tugged on him again.

"I am sorry your highness, but I am part of your enemies. At least I was supposed to be."

"You are asking me to kill you?"

"They are looking to kill me, and that is why I came to you. I have some of their secrets." He then went on one knee. "I pledge my loyalty to you."

Raziel knew that it would be very unwise to trust the man. But even at that, who would risk going to the enemies side in the midst of a war?

"What is your name?" Raziel asked.

"Marshall." The cloaked man said. "Marshall Kruger."
