Capítulo 211: Mitsuri Kanroji: Acceptance
"I did say that you would have to face your past and the things that have been binding you to it in order to rise up and push forward to the future, and the only way to do that is to face yourself and rise above what has you shackled down, the people you lost, what people despise you for, whatever that may be is what you must face and overcome to achieve your future." I say before raising my hand as a 25 by 25 meter square was sectioned out as a green wall of light cut off the area that Mitsuri and her copy were inside of.
"Mitsuri, the Changeling knows everything about you and every skill you have and is much stronger in every regard against you, what you must do is not defeat it but understand what is holding you back and rise above it, do that and your ability to unlock Spiral Energy will come from it all." I said before the barrier fully formed before we all lost sight of what was inside.
"As what she is about to go through is an entirely private and personal matter, I hope you all understand as to why I made it so no one can see or hear what's going on inside, it's a battle she must fight alone." I say to the rest of them.
"Luckily for the rest of you this barrier is self sustaining, so I can at least guide what I can for the rest of you and see if I can make it easier to unlock it when your time comes." I say as I crack my neck before I get to work.

(3rd person POV)
Inside the barrier.
"Huh? Where is this?" Mitsuri says confused as now she was standing on top of what to be a lake but her feet weren't going beneath the surface and it was just water as far as the eye could see with the sky having a few white clouds spotted here and there with the sun shining down on the water making a beautiful yet dreamlike scene.
"It's where you and I shall fight Mitsuri." The Changling said as they stood opposite of her while wearing a perfect copy of her looks.
"It's off putting being pitted against a copy of myself." Mitsuri said as she pulled out her whip style Nichirn Sword to which the Changling ready theirs.
"So do we just fight each other? Hifumi did mention I'm supposed to let go of my past, but I don't know what he means by that…." Mitsuri said as what Hifumi meant was vague for her, to which the Changling shook their head.
"Do you know why my master asked you all that question as to whether you considered him an ally or a comrade? It was all so I could assume everyone of your appearances, and not only that but I know who you are and what you have done all throughout your life up until this point!" They said before they dashed fast enough that they blinked right in front of Mitsuri who could barely deflect the attack as she was sent tumbling away from the force of it all.
"And I know you still see yourself as nothing but a monster with your absurd strength that you believe a woman shouldn't have!" They said as they approached Mitsuri again before whipping the blade at her with immense force that if she hadn't barely dodged, her Aura shield would have shattered as a result.
"No that's wrong! I've already come to accept myself for my strengths!" Mitsuri said clearly angry at hearing that as they clashed their whip blades against each other as they began a stare down.
"Don't lie to me! I know your true feelings, Uyabashiki may have told you to accept yourself for who you are, but being told to do it and actually doing it are two different things! Deep down when you look in the mirror all you see is a monster of a woman who will never find love, and will never find happiness!" They said before hitting Mitsuri with a heavy front kick that sent her skidding away before she fell to one knee and began capuchins from the pain as her aura barrier began to flicker from the mere kick alone.
'….There right….. What woman like me could ever find love…. All I want is a man who's stronger than me but all the Hashira's see me as a little sister, have wives, or keep their distance…. Maybe I will really die al-'
'Is this really what you think Mitsuri?' Suddenly a foreign and unknown voice rung in her ears as she looked up to see the Changling head bowed, but it's not their voice as she seems confused to what was happening.
'Do you really believe that you don't deserve to be happy?' It said again before suddenly the Changling lifted their head and went on the offensive once more forcing her to go back onto the defensive.
'Do you really believe that a woman's only job is to take care of the home and raise their children? Naïve! Oh so very naïve of you to even think that!' The voice shouted out in her mind making her eyes widen in surprise as she kept blocking and countering the Changling's attacks.
"Just because your strong doesn't mean you don't deserve to be happy! Everyone! Every living being on this planet deserves happiness! They call you a monster for your strength then so what! What does it matter to you about people who you don't know and people you don't care about say about you huh?! Are they going to be apart of your life?! No! So why does it matter what they think!' The voice said as it began to get louder and louder within her as I fire was beginning to burn brightly in her eyes.
'So tell me Mitsuri Konroji! Who are you?! Are you a delicate flower who needs to be protected amongst all the other flowers in the flower garden of your life! Or are you going to become the lone beautiful Rose who stands out from all the rest, whose barbs will cause those who are to weak to never touch, but for the strong and the brave to hold you in their hands and love you for who you are!' The voice said as a power was slowly beginning to form deep inside of her as she took a deep breath.
"13th FORM! BURNING WILD ROSE OF LOVE!!!" She shouted out as she was able to finally unleash her thirteenth form of her love breathing technique, one she came up with just now.
Her whip blade glowed a burning hot rose red before she activated her slayer mark while putting all the strength into every muscle in her body as she began to create a rose pattern shaped attack as she fought the Changling, attacking from multiple various directions that, even though three times stronger than her, they were unable to defend against before the attack ended sending the Changling flying away and bleeding all over from the attack.
"I Maybe a Monster of a Woman! But I'll never let that hold me back and I'll always rise above it!" She said before pointing towards the sky as she came to accept who she truly was for the first time in her life.
*THOOOOOM!!!*
Suddenly as if a dam had broken a wave of Spiral Energy began to escape from her body casting her in a green glow as the Changling pulled themselves up while their wounds began to fade.
"Well done Mitsuri, in accepting who you are you have finally unlocked the Spiral Energy within you, though you should thank my master for making it all possible." They said with a small smile as a slight bit of realization hit Mitsuri's as a slight blush came on her face as she nodded.
Soon enough the barrier surrounding them began to break before they were brought right back to the real world.
"Congratulations, I knew that you had it in you." Hifumi approached them both as the others had gotten up from meditating.
"Thank you Hifumi…. I couldn't have achieved this without your help." She said with a bright smile and a slight blush on her face.
'After all, your the one who was speaking to me weren't you?' She thought to herself only to see Hifumi divert his eyes and look away, confirming her suspicions.
"Anyway, you should go get your new powers under control, we got a little while more before we can finally end Muzan once and for all." He said while scratching the back of his head without looking at her as he looked at the rest of them.
"As for you guys, Tomorrow is Rengoku's turn, then Gyomei, followed by Tengen, Sanemi and lastly Obanai, it will give you the proper time to prepare for your battles to come." He said to them to which he nodded before noticing Obanai walk away, but he didn't say anything as the guy had his problems he needs to deal with himself.
'…. Mitsuri…. I hope he's the guy for you….' Obanai thinks quietly to himself as he walks away needing some time to himself as he sighed and walked his separate ways from her in an honest belief in her deserving happiness.
(N) Don't worry, he'll find love for himself later on, also do you guys want me to show them getting over their traumas or should I do only one more? Cause Obanai is the only other one I have planned but if people want I can see getting into Tengen and Sanemi's pasts and them overcoming them, reader input is much appreciated.
