"There hasn't been any new progress on your parents' case. What are you going to do next? Do you need to find out what happened to them before taking action?"
Richelle shook her head, her eyes full of hatred.
"No need, I can probably guess the causes and consequences of what happened back then. And now I have enough evidence to bring them down. But I'm just not willing to let it go. Why did my parents have to die young in a foreign land, while their family committed countless crimes, squandering my parents' hard-earned fortune and enjoying wealth and privilege for decades?"
Hugo looked at her sympathetically and spoke in a low voice.
"Richelle, try to let go a little. I'll think of other ways to find out more information."
Richelle muttered her thanks, still feeling down, when Hugo asked again.
"You're not at home?"
At this point, he seemed to notice that Richelle's background was different than usual.
"Yeah, I had to deal with something. I'm in a hotel now."
