Magnus saw her anxious face through the mirror above and frowned. His sharp brows wrinkled. "What other details does your system know?"

"It says Dimitri's vital signs show he's in critical condition. That's the only information it knows. Did they encounter mutant zombies?" Arianne asked, her mind filled with thoughts of Dimitri becoming a zombie and razing bases to the ground. "We haven't even started our mission. But have we already failed?"

"It shouldn't be..." Magnus remembered a specific piece of news from his last life and let out a vague reply.

Arianne could sense that he knew something but didn't want to share it with them. "Magnus, could you explain what you mean by those words?"

"If his vital signs took a drastic turn, I'll tell you." Magnus once again used an ambiguous response.

Arianne relayed Magnus' words to the system.
