Arianne's eyelashes fluttered along with the beeping sound ringing in her mind. She felt something warm touching her forehead. Opening her eyes, the first thing she saw was a blonde man whose hair and face were smeared with crimson liquid.

"Are you okay?" Ryett asked her while checking the temperature of her forehead. 

"Mom, there are so many monsters outside. I wished Dad were here." A child-like voice resounded in the car, specifically from the back seat. 

"Mom is here. She won't let those monsters get close to Little Yaya." The mother, despite filled with fear, tried to calm down the little girl's cries, but her words were for naught as the little girl had personally witnessed the bloody scenes happening on the street minutes ago.
