Capítulo 10: Back on Board: Athena's Return to the Spaceship

Athena's POV:

After a perilous journey on the Heaven's island me, Draco, and Oliver were finally back on our spaceship. As we boarded, we breathed a sigh of relief that our ship had remained unscathed during our adventure. Draco, in particular, was visibly relieved, as he had grown quite fond of the vessel and was glad that it had not been damaged in any way. "Draco, where is our next stop?"I asked "Our next stop is Alanine." He replied "Alanine? That's where Ciaran was born, right?"I asked

"Yes, that's right. But Ciaran isn't there at the moment. He went to Heaven's Island to check on some things in his last life." He replied

"So how are we going to find him?"Oliver asked "We'll have to gather information from the locals. I've heard that the people of Alanine are very hospitable and helpful. We should be able to find out where Ciaran is if we ask around." Draco said "Sounds like a plan. Let's go."I said .And with that, we set off towards Alanine, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in our quest to find Ciaran. After some time as I made my way back to my room, my eyes caught sight of a small note sticking out from under the door. I paused and picked it up, my curiosity piqued. With trembling fingers, I unfolded the note and read the words scrawled across it.

My heart raced as I realized the note was not from my past self.

"Dear Athena,

I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to let you know that I've been keeping an eye on your progress, and I must say, I'm impressed. Your bravery and determination are truly remarkable.

I wish you the best of luck on your journey to Alanine

C.D."

My mind was racing with questions as I held the mysterious note in my hand. How could Ciaran possibly know our plans when he had no memory of what had happened after Draco's time travel? It seemed impossible. And the fact that he was watching me made me feel uneasy. I wonder what should I do next. Should I tell Draco and Oliver about the note, or keep it to myself?Perhaps tomorrow I will see if the others had also received a note. If not, it could mean that Ciaran was specifically interested in me.What if he also knows about the book? If he is keeping an eye on me for a long time then that's means he knows about me finding the book.I would need to be cautious and take action before things got out of hand and if they do get out of hand I would have to tell Draco and Oliver everything. I found myself back in the library, surrounded by rows upon rows of books on time travel. I know that there had to be some explanation for Ciaran's knowledge of our plans. As I flipped through pages and pages,I finally came across a passage that caught my eye. According to the book, if a person had a strong enough link to the time traveler, they would not forget what had happened during the journey. They would travel alongside the time traveler, without him even realizing that another person was with him. My heart raced as I read this, knowing that it was the missing piece of the puzzle. Ciaran must have had some sort of connection with Draco during his time travel, which allowed him to remember their plans. But how?

My mind raced as I tried to think of what kind of link could exist between Draco and Ciaran.I knew that Draco had came back in time to save me, but he had never mentioned anything about a connection that would allow Ciaran to remember. I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. My thoughts were interrupted when Oliver walked into the library. "What's wrong?"he asked and I hesitated for a moment, but then decided to tell him about the note and my discovery in the book. Oliver's eyes widened as I explained everything. "This is bad," he said. "If Ciaran remembers everything, he could use that knowledge against us. We need to tell Draco." I nodded in agreement. "But how do we explain it to him? He doesn't seem to know anything about this link." Oliver thought for a moment. "Maybe there's something in the ship's logs that could help us. We could see if there's any mention of a link between them." My mind was racing as we made our way to the ship's computer room. I couldn't help but feel that we were walking into a dangerous situation, but I knew we had to find answers. When we found him I quickly explained to him what I had discovered in the library, and how it could be the reason why Ciaran had some kind of connection with him that allowed him to know our plans. Draco's face twisted in frustration and anger as he read the passage in the book. "How is it possible that I didn't know about this?" he exclaimed. "This changes everything."I could see the worry in Draco's eyes as he paced back and forth, trying to process the new information.I knew that we need to act fast to protect ourselves from Ciaran's unknown intentions."I should have told you earlier, I know,"I admitted, feeling guilty. "But we need to focus on what we can do now. We don't know what Ciaran's plan is or how much he knows about our mission."Draco nodded in agreement, still deep in thought. "We need to come up with a new plan," he said. "One that takes into account Ciaran's possible interference."

I nodded, relieved that Draco wasn't angry with me anymore. "I agree," I said. "But what do we do if Ciaran already knows our plans?" Draco shook his head. "We'll have to be extra careful," he said. "And we can't take any unnecessary risks." I knew that we were facing a difficult situation, but I felt better knowing that I had told Draco the truth. I raised a valid point. Googling Alanine might draw unwanted attention to ourselves , and we couldn't risk that. Draco and Oliver nodded in agreement.

"You're right, Athena. We don't want to attract any unnecessary attention. We need to lay low for a while and see if Ciaran makes any moves," Draco said, his tone serious.Oliver chimed in, "Agreed. We have to be cautious and keep a low profile until we can figure out what Ciaran's motives are."I nodded in agreement, feeling relieved that we were all on the same page. "So, what's our plan now?" I asked.Draco thought for a moment before responding, "I think we should stay on the ship for a while and try to gather more information about Ciaran's whereabouts and activities. We can't risk going out and being seen."Oliver nodded in agreement, "That sounds like a good plan. We can keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and gather more intel before making any further moves."

I felt a sense of relief knowing that they had a plan in place. I knew that we have to be careful and strategic if we were going to uncover Ciaran's true intentions. We would face whatever challenges lay ahead together, and with our combined strength and intelligence, we would find a way to succeed.
