Capítulo 59: Aftermath

With Lucius moving through the smoky area, he continued to eliminate the goblins on the ground, steadily making his way toward the gate to deal with the remaining ones.

Peering out through the gate gap, he saw the mage with a look of hatred in its eyes. However, after a moment, it seemed to sigh in defeat and gestured for the rest of the goblins to retreat. Reluctantly, they followed the mage back to the main army, while the Fighter turned and shot one last glare at Lucius before slowly disappearing into the forest.

"Will they ambush us again?" Lucius wondered, aware of the possibility that the goblins might return and bring more trouble.

As he turned his gaze to the muddy village floor, he noticed some goblins struggling to move, choking from the toxic effects of the smoke. Being merciful, he killed them, mostly because he wanted to gain experience and gold from the kills.
