Capítulo 17: Grief, Guilt and Forgiveness
I opened my eyes to see that everything seemed to be normal. However I started to notice black energy spreading, erasing everything it touches.
Wanda: Hey, you ok?
Wanda helped me up. I looked at Lia, who has created a dome around us, shielding us from the black energy.
Lia: I can't hold this much longer. GET OUT OF HERE!
Wanda: WE CAN'T! The damage was too big, it's not just affecting this universe, it's affecting every other universe.
"What can we do?"
Lia tries a spell but it doesn't work.
Lia: I can't do anything. She's the only one who can stop this.
Lia nods at the Scarlet Witch. The Scarlet Witch had her eyes closed, but when she suddenly opened them, reality around us seemed to rewrite. Gone were all the chaos, and suddenly, we were back in the familiar looking Westview residence.
The Scarlet Witch stood up and looked around.
Lia: What's going on?
"She never wanted our powers to destroy the multiverse..."
Vision: Wanda?
The Scarlet Witch turned around to find the same android I found in Wanda's family photo. The Vision.
Scarlet Witch: Vision?
I looked at Lia.
"She just wanted her her Vision back."
The Scarlet Witch walked towards Vision, and placed her hands on his face.
Scarlet Witch: Vision... is this really you?
Vision: Yes. Yes, it is me, Wanda.
The Scarlet Witch cried as she leaned in to kiss the love of her life. She kissed him but as soon as she opened her eyes, The Vision started to disintegrate.
Scarlet Witch: No. No, NO!
The Scarlet Witch tried to use her Chaos Magic to bring Vision back, but as she did, the cracks in the multiverse reappeared and started to destroy reality once again.
Lia: IT'S TOO LATE... THE DAMAGE IS TOO BIG. I'M SORRY.
I turned back to face Wanda, and she nodded. I made my way towards the Scarlet Witch.
Lia: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Lia grabbed my hand to stop me.
Lia: There's nothing we can do... I'm sorry.
I looked at Lia.
"Trust me... Wanda."
Lia looked at me, and finally, she gave me a nod. I walked to face the Scarlet Witch.
"Wanda. WANDA!"
The Scarlet Witch looked down at me.
"Wanda, you have to stop this!"
Scarlet Witch: No. NO... I started this I HAVE TO FINISH THIS!
The magic in her hands embiggened, and reality reacted violently.
"Wanda, I know you lost so much but this is not the way!"
The Scarlet Witch stopped and looked at me.
"Stop it... we both know this can't bring him back."
The Scarlet Witch didn't want to accept this, and she started to cry.
Scarlet Witch: Why? Why does it hurt so much?
"It hurts a lot... doesn't it?"
The Scarlet Witch nodded.
"I know it does because I feel it everyday. Everyday I wish I could bring my parents back... have my old life back... but I can't... and it hurts. It hurts every time. But that's what made those moments so special... the fact that nothing lasts forever. A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts."
The Scarlet Witch cried.
Scarlet Witch: Those people... those variants I've hurt...
I simply nodded.
"I know... and I forgive you. I forgive you."
The Scarlet Witch looked at me, and finally understood what she had to do. The magic in her hands flashed for a while when suddenly, the whole surrounding started to glow red.
Lia: What's going on?
Wanda: She's-
Scarlet Witch: I'm buying you some time... to get home.
Wanda looked around.
Wanda: No.
"What's going on?"
Lia: She's containing the blast radius-
Wanda: She's containing this inside a pocket universe.
Lia: One where it can't hurt other universes.
I looked at the Scarlet Witch.
Scarlet Witch: I started this... it's only right I fixed this.
I nodded at her.
Scarlet Witch: Go.
Lia conjured up a portal out of here. She went in, followed by Wanda. Before I went in, I looked back at the Scarlet Witch.
Scarlet Witch: I'm sorry.
I gave one last look at the Scarlet Witch, telling her I forgave her, before entering the portal.

Once the universe was contained, the Scarlet Witch fell to the ground, weak.
She tried to get up but she couldn't.
She was too weak to get up when suddenly, she felt someone help her up.
Scarlet Witch: I thought I told you to go-
She looked up to see the Vision.
Scarlet Witch: Viz?
Vision nodded and the two shared one kiss.
