Capítulo 153: Second round

"What are you doing here Hobin?" I asked while shaking my head.

He had a sheepish smile while handing me a cold bottle of water.

"I can't let my friend fight alone while I watch at my home can I?" He said.

I took the cold water bottle from his hand while flashing a smile. This time it was not of battle lust or excitement but a genuine smile.

"Thank you."

I popped open the bottle and took greedy gulps and I felt my body cool down as the cold water flowed down my throat.

Hobin took my mouthpiece and cleaned it quickly before putting it in cold water. He then took the bag of ice and put it over my head.

"How do you know that I was alone and how did you even manage to get in?" I asked Hobin again. He took a white towel and wiped away my sweat before using it to fan me.

"Oh, umm." He seemed to select his words carefully, "I got a call from someone and they said you will need me during the fight. They said you were fighting alone without a team."

"Who?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know either. All I know is that it was a girl from her voice and has a really weird korean accent." He said while shrugging.

'I wonder who it could be?' I thought to myself, trying to deduct who the person could be. But I could not figure it out.

'Well, whoever it was I am grateful.'

I thought I was okay alone but when Hobin finally showed up, I realized how much I needed the moral support. It's like how you didn't know you needed something until you actually got it.

"So, what is fighting Museoung like?"

"The real fight hasn't even started yet but he is very very strong." I said while looking at him. He was sitting at the corner opposite to me.

"He holds back most of the time but when he launches a power shot, I am pretty sure it could destroy a wall."

"Reallly!?" Hobin asked in surprise.

"Legit. I can best him in pure skills alone but he seemed to be created by the Gods for the sole purpose of fighting. There are trucks behind his punches."

"So would you lose?"

"Nah, I'd win."

A minute soon came to pass and the bell rang. Hobin hurriedly collected his utensils and gave me my mouthpiece before he hurried off the octagon.

"Good luck!!" He said after he was outside the cage.

The referee gestured us forward and then he started the match. Museong and I circled each other like predators.

I was in a boxing stance but he was still in the turtle defensive position like before. I measured our distance by constantly putting my hand forward.

I kept my eyes on him. He was in a defensive position so it would be easier to crack him with a counterattack.

I was waiting for that moment. My eyes fixed on him like a hawk. Show me an opening.

I saw him. I saw him. Then I saw him not.

!!!!

He suddenly ducked under my outstretched hand and stepped inside my body. Then even before I could realize where he went, he threw a hook right to my body.

*POW!!*

The punch completely shook me and my body flew away. I literally flew away due to the punch force behind the punch.

Forget about the realistic scene you have in your mind, it happened exactly like it sounded.

My feet were off the ground and I flew away, crossing the canvas until my back smashed against the steel fence of the octagon.

My instinct flared and I only saw a dark shadow with glowing white eyes blitz towards me and threw a hook right at my face.

I moved my head and the punch landed on the steel net. Immediately it caved in like it did when my flying knee hit the fence.

I pushed myself away from the corner and three consecutive jabs came at me which I blocked. Then the hair on my body stood and I ducked under the kick aimed at my head.

*Whoosh!!*

I could feel the kick shoot past me and the wind generated by it alone was enough to mess up my hair.

It was an impossible kick. It was akin to a bat being swung by a professional. Maybe even harder.

Munseoung spun with the kick that he missed and it turned into a backkick. I blocked the kick by crossing my arms but I was sent flying across the octagon again.

My arms felt numb and I crouched down to get myself together.

The difference between the first round and the second round was like heaven and earth. The strength, speed, and even arura of my opponent had completely changed.

I looked up in disbelief as he slowly made his way towards me. My vision did not see a human approaching but something else.

Something beyond everything that is humane.

He was like a beast that slowly made his way towards me.

I began shaking when I saw him. My arms still felt numb and my body was traumatized by power it faced not too long ago.

.

.

"Oh. This is what I was waiting for. YESS!!!" I couldn't help but say as Munseoung slowly walked towards me.

*Ting!*

[Titles :-]

[Martial Artist]

[Man of steel]

[The strong-willed]

The titles I had, started acting up when faced with such worthy opponents. The part of me that rarely appeared, surfaced when faced with a monster of equal strength.

My lips stretch into a smile again and I blurred from my place. I ran at him and with all the momentum behind me, I spun around and delivered a back-side kick right at his guard.

He grimaced when my kick landed, he was prepared to receive my blow but the power behind my kick was completely out of his expectation.

He thought I was only fast. He thought with my speed, I lost my strength and couldn't hit hard. He thought I had no knock out power.

Oh, how wrong he was.

He was not sent flying like I was but he tumbled backward due to the sheer force behind my kick. He was off balance so I took the chance to send a kick at his leg and to completely make him fall.

Munseoug saw the attack and since he was off balance, he could check my kick. So he put his arm down to protect his leg from getting hit.

He sucessfully blocked my low kick and my feet hit his arm. His eyes snapped wide open but not because of my power.

What surprised him was not how hard I hit but how soft it was. My kick was quick but when he blocked it, it barely tickled his arm.

*Whoosh*

He had no time to think as my leg blurred and the next thing he knew, an explosion occurred right at the side of his face. His ear rang and his eyes turned white.

It was never a low kick that I was throwing but a question mark kick. His mouth guard fell off completely along with his spit.

I pulled back my leg and used that chance to do a back-said kick again and this time, it hit him right at his stomach without any guard.

He flew across the octagon and crashed into the fence and slumped down completely.

I ran up to him and threw a punch at his face while he sat limply with his back on the fence. But to no surprise, he caught my fist before it landed.

"You ready?" I smirked.

He looked up at me. His eyes were no longer white, it was clear brown. His jaw moved as if he was chewing something before he spit out his broken tooth.

Then his head blurred and I had just enough time to put my hand over my face as he headbutted me. I took a few steps back and he got up.

Then a brawl started where we exchanged blows that sounded like gunshots to the audience. From the fierce sound, they could tell that if one of them were to get hit, their head would pop.

It was a show of strength and a battle that you would never see in my previous life. The fight between us was in a completely different league.

We continued exchanging fatal blows like kids exchanging candies. I was the faster one so I dodge more attacks.

On the other hand, he was durable enough to tank my attacks so he blocked more.

We pushed each other and seemly took turns while exchanging strikes.

But it should be mentioned that through the whole ordeal, he never landed a puch on my face.

Museoung threw a powerful straight at me and I ducked under it and grabbed a hold of his body. I swerved around and went to his back and my muscles flexed as I tightened my hold on him.

Then I pulled his feet off the ground as if he was a tree. I turned his world upside down and did a suplex, sending his body to crash on the cold hard mat.

*Crash*

I was not done as I quickly repositioned myself and I did another suplex that sent him crashing onto the canvas

*Crash!!!*.

I was about to do another suplex at him but I felt his fingers dig into my wrist with inhumane strength. It was a wonder how he was able to stay conscious after two consecutive suplexes done by a wrestling master.

Not only that, he still had enough strength to resist the third suplex.

He then used my knees as a foothold and he did a backflip to get himself out of my hold. But when he had the chance, he did not get out of my hold.

I felt his grip on my wrist tighten and then he twisted his body and we started rolling on the canvas. He was like a crocodile doing a death roll after he caught his prey.

We continued rolling until we were eventually stopped by the fence. But this time, the table had turned.

"No!!" I screamed as his legs wrapped around me like they were snakes.

Suddenly, from a crocodile rolling with his prey, he became a python catching its prey.

Museoung still had a firm hold on my wrist, preventing me from hitting him. And he used his body weight to expertly stop me from getting up.

He was under me and I was at the top. Yet I was the one losing the fight.

He squeezed my body so hard with his legs that I felt like I was under the ocean, bearing the full weight and pressure of the Pacific.

I knew I was in trouble because he was using the only type of martial arts that I had no experience with.

Jiu-jitsu.

Soon, his legs came up little by little while I struggled like a dying animal. I may be a fierce fighter while standing but on the ground, I was even less skilled than he was.

He eventually got both his feet on my shoulder and he put me in a triangle choke. He used his legs to squeeze his neck.

In a fit of struggle, I pushed his body across the canvas yet he was like a ghost that I could never get rid of. His legs squeezed me hard.

Now we were at the other side of the fence from where we started. Luckily, I managed to get one of my arms free from his hold.

I put my hand between the legs that was squeezing me, stopping him from choking me and I got some relief from that. But that relief was short-lived as I discovered something.

I did not get my hands out of his hold. I never could if he was serious about holding me.

He let me go.

Now why would he let me go?

!!!!!!

I felt his leg shift from my neck to my shoulder and Museoung put my arm he still holds in his armpits.

Then I felt pain shoot up from my arm.

He abandoned trying to choke me out with the triangle choke and shifted into an arm bar instead.

His legs were holding me in place, I was too far away to hit him and his bodyweight was pulling me to the ground, stopping me from standing up.

Now it doesn't matter how hard I hit.

I was in trouble.

"Tap." Munseough said, blood flowing out his lips due to his broken tooth. He increased the strength behind the armbar and I felt my arm bend in a way it was not intended to.

"I will break your arm. I will not repeat myself."

He increased his strength again.

.

.

.

"Tap."
