"O well when I was training my magic I had a brilliant idea why don't we try using a catalyst or some support for my magic, I only used magic in its raw form and I haven't tried to let's say manipulate a already lit fire so I tried just that"

"Yep but manipulating the existing fire is much harder because it is not made or supported by mana it is a chemical reaction hence it took me a while to figure out how to make it work but when I succeed then this plan was born"

With the end of my conversation I came to my destination, the fortress was still the same unguarded and without anyone on watch so it was perfect.
Now it was close to midnight so I knew that every goblin is inside with all of the days i stend hunting them I had perfect knowledge of there schedule so I knew that the army usually left at sun up.
I started making my preparation I took out animal fat into my hands and started smearing it on the walls of the fortress I didn't do the whole wall as I didn't have sufficient animal fat I just did a line around the wall as I was doing my preparation I hoped that nothing saw me and every time I heard a noise I hid in the bushed my Stealth was working overtime without pay may i add but I can't be discovered.
When my preparations were done I climbed the biggest tree overlooking the goblin fortress I was unable to see any goblin as all of them were most likely sleeping, The overconfidence they show will now be there doom.
I shot a fire ball at the line of fat and watched on as the whole wall bursted into flames in a matter of seconds,
With the first signs of fire a bell rang through the goblin camp chosing most of the goblins to run out of there hide tents.
My assault was working it spread panic and chosing maham but I was not done yet I casted a fireball with a hollow center then using my inventory I willed that animal fat fills the hollow center and voila my new spell firebomb.
I started throwing the firebombs into the goblin camp, when the ball hit it caused a small explosion then a inferno followed, with every firebomb I took more lives but I was not satisfied so I continued throwing firebombs.

I ignored the notifications and just focused on trying to throw my fireboms into more populated areas that is until I head the familiar sound of dice rolling.
[Luck Plays a Role ]
I quickly stoped all of my actions and focused intensely on the last firebomb I throwed it was not following it course and it was defying gravity by going straight upwards.
I watched on as the firebomb kept increasing in height then it exploded in the air it was like the most beautiful fireworks I have ever seen but what followed was even more beautiful, the fragments of fire rained down on the camp setting the whole area on fire.
"Wow"
When the world showed me a new spell I needed to say a quick prayer to show my appreciation.
"Thank you World for teaching me a new spell, Amen"
I said my prayer and continued to bombard the camp but this time using the spell the world taught me and I ended up naming it fire rain.
When I was out of mana I quickly ran away I started returning back to my tree as my work here was done if any goblin survived then they were the minority that I can handle later as all I was able to see is a sea of burned corpses.
Pov: Fiend General of The First Rank Gob
I woke up to find my home in a sea of fire the screams of my brethren filled the air as a blessed water mage I knew I can help my brothers but I also knew this was a enemy attack so I followed my orders and went to my King abandoning my brothers.
The I saw it the King's Palace it was a blazing inferno so I quickly used my water magic to extinguish some of the flames I knew that I don't have the mana reserve to extinguish all of this fire so I ran into the keep to find my king uncaring of my body.
I searched every room trying to find my king I used water magic to cool down my body but it was getting harder to breathe but I will not give up untill I found my king.
Then I found him
My king was dead burned by the fire trying to protect his young but atleast his young followed him to the other side.
I quickly ran out of the keep the outside air filled my lung and I was finally able to breathe but then I was it at the tallest tree overlooking our camp a pair of glowing amber eyes looking at everything with indifference that look it filed me with wrath.
Then it was gone it just disappeared but I now knew the eyes of the attacker and I swore revenge.

I was back at my tree so it was finally time to see all of my notifications.
