Fei Chuan entered the old gym room, the key Bei Sangyun had given him still in his possession. As he placed his laptop on the bench, a thought crossed his mind—should he reach out to Bei Sangyun?

The possibility of her arriving only to find him gone, and that irritating guy possibly occupying his seat, lingered in Fei Chuan's thoughts.

He fished out his phone but hesitated. The realization struck him that he didn't have Bei Sangyun's contact number. Despite having her old phone, Fei Chuan hadn't bothered to learn her current number, assuming there would be no future need for contact.

Fei Chuan let out an exasperated sigh and exited the gym. Surely, her lackey would have her number, right?
