"Tell me how the organization boosts the bullets," I finally asked.
Although I admitted that I didn't know it, I still phrased it in a way that suggested that I just needed to learn about the organization's method, not that I didn't know how to do it at all.
The boy blinked a few times, taken aback. "You don't…" he started, but bit his tongue right after, seeing my cold glare. I might have admitted my lack of knowledge, but that didn't mean he could talk about it as well.
"Ahem, right." The boy cleared his throat. "The thing is, at the organization, we don't boost the bullets, we boost the gun."
Ah. That made sense.
I already had a clue about how it should be done, but I still asked. "Boost the gun?"
"Yes. Basically, you need to understand all the mechanisms behind the gunshot… And then you apply your abilities, I mean break the reality laws, to the gun when you pull the trigger," the boy explained.
