As the system told me I had a System Pack to claim, I smiled, hungry for more of these wonderful gifts.
That can wait though. I have to spend some time with my new crewmate. I wonder what I should call the crew.
After that crazy battle, we snacked on yesterday's food from hunting. We broke our record that night, getting 6 animals. Once I got a sense of using Rokushiki, it was easy pickings for most of the animals. Now some of the animals we used to have trouble from, hide from us.
As the sun set, we all got into the tree house. Luffy was the first one to go to sleep, and now, it was only Ace and I awake.
"Get some sleep Ace. As your captain, that's an order", I said sarcastically, which Ace didn't find all that funny.
"It's not going to stay that way. Soon, just you wait!", Ace shouted out to me. I was amazed at how Luffy didn't wake up.
Ace settled in his blankets, and soon after, he joined Luffy in the act of sleeping. Now that the coast is clear, I have something to do.

Chimera Vial- A vial containing the Dna of a Mink, Fishmen and a Lunarian. This vial targets specific attributes of your Lineage Factor. That means you won't get fur because of Mink Dna the Blue Skin from a Fishmen, or the dark skin and white hair from a Lunarian.
•Fishmen's abilities you will inherit : Enhanced Physical Prowess, Underwater Breathing (Via Gills On Neck), Enhanced Maneuverability( In Water), Communication with Sea Animals.
•Mink's abilities you will inherit include: Enhanced Physical Prowess( Mainly Agility And Jumping), Electric Manipulation( Via Electro), Enhanced Recovery,
•Lunarian's abilities you will inherit include: Enhanced Physical Prowess( Mainly Durability), Enhanced Vitality, Enhanced Resilience, Fire Manipulation, Flight(Via Wings)
Seimei Kikan's Manual- A manual that will guide you in the arts of controlling your body to the highest extent.
Kage Kage No Mi- is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that gives the user the ability to manifest and control shadows of living creatures, including their own, as physical and tangible forms. The user, becoming a 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐫 o𝐟 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬. This is a replica of a preexisting fruit, eaten by Gecko Moria.
Calamity- One of the 50 Great Swords. The type of sword it is is a Cutlass. It was equipped with a hilt, made of obsidian.

I was shocked by such rewards. They were so good, way better than my Gift Pack I got at the start of my life.
Calamity was the perfect sword for Ace. Plus it's a part of the 50 great swords so the high quality is guaranteed. I don't know how Ace could not want to be on my crew. I'm the gift that keeps on giving.
The Seimei Kiken Manual was an alright gift too. It was a powerful technique, letting Lucci shrink his body to become more agile.
The Kage Kage No Mi was my second favorite gift. It was a powerful gift, being in my opinion, in the top 5 strongest Paremecia. It allows the user the opportunity of making an army of zombies, and that was an amazing ability.
There was one problem though. I didn't want to eat a Devil Fruit. I think having the inability to swim while you're in the ocean is a crazy disadvantage that I can't afford to take. Not yet at least.
Maybe I could give it to Ace. Look at you Adam, giving Ace all these gifts. I was acting generously, and it was justified. Ace is Gol D Roger's son. If it helps him reach his potential, which is sky high, then let's do it.
My favorite gift though, was the Chimera Vial. It was just too good.
It gave me immense physical prowess, and stacking it with Oden's Bloodline, I was going to be physically strong alright.
My favorite part about this was my potential elemental manipulation. The Mink's Dna gave me electric powers, Lunarian's gave me fire powers, and Fishmen , with Fishman Karate, gave me water powers.
All these Devil Fruit like abilities without the cost of not swimming, it was the dream for me and it should be for anyone else too.
I got up from my bed before leaving the tree house. I'm going to need a way to rationalize all of this, and how will I do it? By pretending to go to the Black Market.

I was in the Gray Terminal now. It was for my plan but I realize, why not just get done with one of my gifts right now.
'System, withdraw "Chimera Vial", I commanded the system.
After a light flashed in my hand, a vial filled with blood replaced it. I clutched the bloodline vial.
Down the hatch it goes. I chugged the vial, pouring the Chimera Dna in me. That's when I felt my body changed. Slightly, but it changed.
I felt my neck change a bit, and after looking in the mirror, I now had Gills. I felt nothing changed about me, and I was confused. That's when the system clarified something to me.
[It'll take time for your new attributes to develop]
That's good. Onto my next step.
After digging in the Gray Terminal for the whole night, I saw the sun rose and knew it was now time for my game plan. I made my way back to the tree house.
After scourging through the Gray Terminal, I found bags serviceable for carrying my new stuff, besides the money of course.
Walking through the forest, I psyched myself. I'm about to put on a Oscar worthy performance to these kids.
I made it to the tree house, where Ace and Luffy were already training. Once the saw me, they dropped the things they were doing and walked over.
"What you got in those bags. Meat?", Luffy pondered.
"Just stuff for Ace and me. Don't worry about it", I answered, which Luffy was demoralized, getting left out. Ace was now interested.
I set the bags down. I pulled something out of the first bag. It was a sword in its scabbard. It's obsidian hilt was the only thing showing.
"This is your cutlass I promised", I handed Ace the sheathed sword. He grabbed it with both of his hands, in awe.
" Thanks, Adam", he told to me.
"Don't worry I got more", I grabbed something out of the second bag. It was a spherical-shaped pure black fruit with a green stem, and like most Devil Fruits, it has swirl patterns all around it. It also has onion like leaves on its side that appear similar to the collar of a cloak.
Ace and Luffy were surprised. Luffy was the first to talk."Those swirls patterns, it looks like my Gomu fruit".
"You're right Luffy, for once. It's the Kage Kage No Mi, the Shadow fruit. It's for you Ace. Eat up!", I tossed Ace the fruit. He almost fumbled the catch but he was successful.
Ace looked at the fruit, then at me. I nodded to him, telling him to eat it. Ace then clutched the fruit, before taking a bite out of the fruit.
His eyes widened, because of the taste, but he managed to gulp it down. All that was left of the fruit soon vanished.
"That's what it's like to be in my crew", I told Ace. He smiled at that.

I have revealed Adam's fighting style. He'll be a martial artist with elemental powers, all because of his chimera DNA.
