Capítulo 8: Exposing the dark facts
The crowd were all surprised and shocked as their devices showing a guy. Gordon and GCPD, Bruce Wayne and his family along with league members, Red Hood knew who exactly is this guy.
He is wearing the white mask, grey hat and the black coat.
"Good evening, Gotham. I am the murderer of crime lords and my name is "Mystical Punisher"".
Now all the Batman's doubts are gone about whether Mystical Punisher and this guy are one and the same.
"No need to worry if you are innocent. But if you've committed any heinous crime even after giving second chance then you need to watch your back." said the mystical punisher.
Bruce, Tim and Oliver slipped away from the party silently. While Zatanna who was hidden there went away from there.
"Haha. Now let's get back to cleansing Gotham." said the guy. The voice was of a teenager and Gordon could clearly see now that the boy may be 13 to 15 year old unlike before.
"I warned you Gordon not to stagnate or aggravate the problems. During these 2 weeks you could have cut off the filth from the department instead of chasing me. Now you have to pay the price." said Vishal.
Vishal flicked and a video started playing in all the devices. It is the footage of the incident that happened near Amarnath group of Industries.
Batman who was suited up along with others went pale on seeing the footage. He knows what "Mystical Punisher" is doing.
The people all over Gotham saw the video and clearly saw the incompetence of GCPD.
"You've laid a great trap trying to lure me out Batman thinking that I am a simple teenager who couldn't see through your schemes.
I am giving you an hour to apprehend me. If you fail I'll expose some of the dark truths." said Mystical Punisher before disappearing.
"He knows." shouted Batman. "He knows Bruce Wayne is Batman as he himself said it indirectly." said Bruce with desperation and anger.
"That means he knows our identities too." said Oliver.
"Call Superman, Jonn and Cyborg to find him." said Batman.
They are all in deep trouble because the killer might have the identities of the league members too.
The entire league scoured through the map of Gotham with Superman's X-ray vision and Jonn's psychic powers.
"Batgirl." said Batman.
"Yes Bruce." said Batgirl with a shaky tone.
"Keep calm. We'll find him." said Batman.
"Okay B. He is targeting my father deliberately." said Barbara.
"When I find him I'll put my katana through his legs." shouted the brat called Damien.
Suddenly an interruption occurred and a voice came.
"Finally got through. Ah yes it's good to meet the Bat family or should I called Wayne family." said Vishal.
""Mystical Punisher" you should give up. No need to make it tough for yourself." threatened Batman with his cliché dialogue.
"Bruce Wayne, your intimidation would've worked on small time crooks or small criminals but not with me. Why should I be afraid of you when an insane guy like Joker isn't afraid?" said Vishal mocking Batman.
"Now listen to me you Bat shit family, it's not only your identities but I hacked the Bat computer and got the identities of every member of the Justice League and their weakness. I also have data about their weaknesses and your contingent plans." said Vishal.
Everyone felt like a bomb has been dropped on them. "I am not here to convince you to start killing someone or something because I don't care.
All I want is for you guys to stay away from me while I cleanse Gotham if you fail to capture me today." said Vishal.
"No we will find you today and put you in Arkham or a cell." said Batman driving.
"Yeah we've seen sickos like you too many times." said Damien.
"Ohohoho. Bratty Damien Wayne you should keep your mouth shut because if I expose your relation to Ra's Al Ghul then there will be no place for you to hide." countered Vishal.
"You-" was about to shout when "Enough. He is playing with your minds." Batman stopped Damien.
Damien kept silent.
"So should I take it that if you fail to capture me today that I can release the identities of the Bat family." mocked Vishal.
They all felt defeated inside and felt uncomfortable on hearing the words.
"Just kidding. I won't exposé your identities as it is the last of my contingency plans." said Vishal laughing.
He felt the danger which resembled when he always faced the Joker.
"You bastard. Why are you targeting my father?" shouted Barbara irritatedly.
"Barbara baby. You're father had too many years to not only clean the GCPD but Gotham too. But he failed and innocent lives had to suffer and the same goes for you Batman." said Vishal with a serious tone.
"This is not the way to do things." said Batman.
"Stop that signature Batman drivel that your way is right and I am wrong. The results spoke a lot and as we can see crime is down to 10% with my method rather than yours." mocked Vishal.
"You are killing people. You are nothing more than a murderer." said Tim.
"How is it going, replacement?" said Vishal.
Tim heard those words and was shocked. There is only one guy who calls him that and it is none other than Jason Todd.
"No need to waste time. I know about him too. He is doing far better work than the Bat family." said Vishal.
"If you'll excuse me I have some cleansing to do." said Vishal leaving the line.
"Alfred. Did you track where he called from?" asked Batman.
"The number is jumping all over through the globe Master Bruce. I could not trace his call." said Alfred.
"Cyborg. Did you find the source of the video call?" asked Batman.
"No Batman. There are powerful firewalls blocking which I can't break through even with Apokoliptian technology." replied Cyborg.
"We're screwed and you have doomed us Batman." said Oliver.
Batman kept silent as he really did mess up. Soon League will come to know about this.
They've searched through all of USA for our guy but they could not even find his shadow.
"This space breathing skill sure is handy. Helps me hide in space and satellites." said Vishal.
He is presently perched in the same satellite and enjoying the show of Batman and league's desperation.
One hour is over and the league failed.
The screens went on and Mystical Punisher appeared.
A smile appeared on the face of Mystical Punisher and he flicked his fingers.
The devices received a document which contained lump of videos and files.
"Now give a big round of applause for the corruption in Police Department and in Court. This is the dark truth that Gordon and Batman has hid from you." said Vishal.
The people all over Gotham saw the Police guys under the pay roll of crime lords committing atrocities.
The files contained details of crimes committed by crime lords, rogue gallery, Police and Judges with evidence attached to it.
"Should've updated your security of your servers, Gordon? I got through easily." said Vishal smiling.
The people all over Gotham were sickened how the truths were covered up from their eyes and a false illusion was projected.
Batman felt like his body went limp on seeing what "Mystical Punisher" has done.
"This is the worst." said Superman.
"The ball is in your hands people. Will you forgive them or will you stand up for Justice and take it upon yourself or wipe these guys from the face of earth." said Vishal as he left with satisfaction.
"Suck on this Bat fucker." said Vishal as he teleported to his house.
The nightmare has began for Batman, Gordon, GCPD, Courts and the Justice league.
