Capítulo 36: Goku and Dai’s progress
Age 761, October 11.
Three years have passed since Dai became the world champion. At Kami's lookout.
"He did it. They endured the harsh environment and temperature of the room and trained for a whole day." Kami said as Goku got out of the room called the hyperbolic time chamber while carrying Chichi in his arms
"Finally," Goku said as he fell to his knee after slowly putting Chichi down to the ground.
To surpass Dai and Piccolo, Goku decided to enter the Hyperbolic time chamber which can push a person to its limit and make them stronger.
Chichi who was inseparable from him also entered with him to help him train.
To enter the Hyperbolic time chamber both of them undergo intense training that increases their power level by a lot even before entering the chamber.
"Mommy, Daddy. Both of you are out." A small three-year-old boy said as he ran towards Goku and Chichi to hug them.
"Gohan. Aren't you staying at Grandpa's while we were away?" Chichi asked the three-year-old boy.
His name was Son Gohan and he was the child of Goku and Chichi.
"And how did you even make it here?" Chichi asked Gohan.
"He climbed the Korin tower and used the power pole to get up here," Kami replied.
Because of his loss to Dai, Goku dedicated all the time he had after his married life to training to the point that it was a miracle that Gohan was even born.
Goku knew that he was not the strongest so he was even more obsessed with training than he used to be.
As a result, Chichi's behaviour changed from what it was originally supposed to be as she was too madly in love with Goku.
She knew that if she opposed Goku's way of life there was a chance that they might spilt up.
So she tries to adjust her lifestyle to that of Goku's. As a result, she started to find comfort in being a martial artist and started becoming a decently powerful warrior herself.
She was not obsessed with money as Kami and Mr. Popo provided food and clothing for them to the point that they had nothing to worry about.
And she knew that if she ever needed something like money, a house or clothing she could just use the dragon balls.
However, there was a problem. Although Goku and Chichi are now stronger than they are supposed to be, Gohan still doesn't catch interest in martial arts. Gohan wants to become a scholar after learning how to read and write.
It was such a shame because if Gohan became interested in fighting even a little bit he could grow strong to the point that he could take on the current Goku, Dai and Piccolo at the same time with just one year's worth of training by himself.

At that time in a small little planet called the north Kai's planet.
"Too slow." A muscular blonde man said as he threw a blue energy ball at Dai.
"Tch." Dai in his gold-eye form tried to use an afterimage to dodge the attack but he was too slow as he was hit in the back.
A small explosion occurred as smoke started to cover the area where Dai was.
"Hey. Be careful Olibu. You might accidentally destroy my home." A short blue-skinned man who was wearing clothes with the Kanji Kai written on it said to the blonde man named Olibu.
"Hurry up. I am here to pick you up we don't have much time left." Fortune Teller Baba said to Dai.
"Can I stay here a bit longer? Maybe for ten more minutes. I still want to finish this fight." Dai said as he reappeared from the smoke while holding a big sword.
"Force slash," Dai said as he launched an air slash made of wind in Olibu's direction by using the sword that he was holding in his hand.
As soon as the sword slash was used the blade immediately shattered because it was not strong enough to endure Dai's power.
Olibu easily evaded the attack however it hit King Kai's house which was nearby and flew away until it disappeared from one's sight.
"Ahhh looks what you done." King Kai yelled out to Dai and Olibu.
Olibu appeared in front of Dai and aimed his fist at Dai's chin.
Dai fell as he realized that he had been defeated.
"It was a nice match," Olibu said to Dai as he extended his hand to help him up.
"You were even using weighted clothes to suppress yourself. I still have a long way to go." Dai said as he took Olibu's hand.
"Hey, where did the old lady go?" Dai asked King Kai after he realized that fortune teller Baba was no longer there.
"She said she is going to wait for you at King Yama's office. By the way, why did you even want to go back to Earth? Didn't you say that you don't have any partners, friends or relatives on that planet?" King Kai asked Dai.
"I have a rival. And Didn't you tell me that there is somewhere in the universe who is even stronger than Olibu? I feel that If I spend my whole life here I might not be able to meet him." Dai said as he wiped the sweat on his face.
"Such a shame. I wanted to see how strong you would become before the next Grand Kai's tournament." Olibu said to Dai.
After spending two years learning magic under fortune-teller Baba, Dai decided to continue his martial arts training.
With the help of Baba, he was able to spend a year training under King Kai.
Of course, he has to pay Baba a lot of money to help him meet King Kai and he also has to gain King Kai's favor to receive training from him.
Luckily Dai was able to gather a lot of money with the help of the dragon balls and the favour of King Kai was easily gained when he told a terrible joke to him.
