Capítulo 6: chapter 6 : the holder of the dream
In any city, in any country, go to an inn, motel, or some other place where you can rest; just find a bed comfortable enough for your taste. Then sleep, sleep a little longer. In your dreams you will see a beautiful garden, with cool fountains and rare flowers glistening in the mist. Here you may rest and prepare yourself. When you're ready, explore the garden until you come to a gazebo in the middle of the clearing. In the shade of the gazebo, rest alone
a beautiful woman in a dress with garden colors. He will gesture for you to sit on his left; he likes you and he has a task to be completed by you. Without a word or gesture, he will ask you to find a flower in his garden. Better do as he asks; you, after all, he is your friend and it is better that you are in his blessings.
He will keep the characteristics of the flower a secret; he is testing you. If you are destined for the role, if your luck continues, you will come across two intertwined tree trunks, each growing a different flower. Choose wisely, because if you disappoint your host it would be better to bang your skull against a rock than face his discontent.
If you choose the right flower, then return to the gazebo and give it to him. He will smile, kiss you on the cheek and say, "I too was a seeker; be careful with your destiny." When he turns around you will see his back which has been chipped and mutilated by fire, teeth, which are things your mind cannot fathom. Follow the woman to her house. Do not be afraid; he does not want to hurt you, because he understands about your wanderings. You will wake up in your bed. Out of the corner of your eye you will see something tucked under the door. It was an envelope containing a single flower petal.
