Capítulo 117: Chapter 117: A Massacre

Manila, Philippines

Atop a small hillside stood a lone mansion. Its wooden exterior was reminiscent of the haciendas of wealthy plantation owners. A huge expanse of land with dense vegetation surrounded the keep akin to a fortress. The interior of the house was immaculately and luxuriously furnished. On the walls hung the portraits of a family of four, the owners of the house. Dinner was served on the table.

Everything appeared to be normal.

Except it was not.

The mansion housed a family of four and yet nary a sound could be heard.

The smell of blood hung thick in the air.

Outside were dozens of bodies strewn in a haphazard manner. Lycans. Each one had been killed before they had a chance to turn.

Inside the mansion, the television was still playing a children's broadcast but no one was watching.

They could not.

Everyone was dead.
