Upon returning to the mansion, everyone avoided speaking to the Alpha, sensing his anger and the chance for him to vent it on anyone who dared approach him.

"Where is Theresa?" He stopped a passing maid and inquired.

"She is in the kitchen, Alpha," the maid replied, scurrying off.

"You don't need to follow me. Prepare something for me, I will text you the details," he ordered Enoch, who hesitated before leaving his side.

If only some women weren't so ambitious, many problems could be solved. But they always wanted more than they had. Damien's prediction was correct, she desired love, which went against the rules of the contract.

"Alpha!" The maids standing by the door exclaimed when Damien entered, surprised to see their Alpha in the kitchen. Aurora panicked upon hearing them call him, "Alpha." Was he finally here to punish her?
