"Why don't the two of you stop hiding and come introduce yourselves," Ava announced in a serene yet somehow domineering tone of voice that made it sound more like a command than the question that it actually was.
After hearing this, Marcus's eyes shrank to that of pinholes. He'd already become far warier of the people in front of him, seeing as though one of them had just killed a guard in a fraction of the time it had taken he himself to do so and with far less effort. There was no telling what the others beside her could do either, even if they didn't seem half as strong as the she-devil in front of him.
Now she was telling him there were two others here with them as well.
'Where are they?'
Just as Marcus's eyes were darting left to right, in search of who it was Ava was speaking of, he heard the sound of rustling foliage and the snapping of a tree branch only a dozen or so meters behind him.
