Capítulo 70: Gaze into the Abyss...

Once Marcus had made it to the stand, where he was meant to be hung, his body looked noticeably different than what it was before.

Blood was still oozing down the side of Marcus's head and now coated that side of his clothes in splotches of red. His blindfold now only clung to his face due to the blood that fell over it and was threatening to fall off from being pulled and unraveled by one of the numerous aggressors that had attacked Marcus in the mob below.

Among his plethora of injuries, the injuries pertaining to his feet had to be some of the most gruesome. Marcus didn't have any shoes on and this allowed for the angry mob to have another source to inflict pain upon the defenseless omen.

Some conniving earth mages and fire mages in the crowd had worked together to from a path of highly heated stones that made for a make-shift form of firewalking for Marcus.
